Peter Bernstein is one of the greatest living jazz artists, and Lori (a very talented musician) understood him and complimented his brilliant performance perfectly. This is one of the best jazz performances I've heard in the past decade.

It gets no better than this. I could see a big smile on Wes face when Peter hit his chord solo with his thumb.

Peter's chord solo, wow! Love how Lori layed out during. She is great!

He was reharmonizing extemporaneously so musically it’s the better choice to lay out otherwise the two chordal instruments are likely going to produce sonic disjunction.

There is a mistake in the description.
The song is by Philip Springer and not by Hoagy Carmichael, which is a completely different tune.

mea culpa! Thank you for the correction, sir. I was unfamiliar with the tune when I edited the video. Information has been updated.

You all are brilliant! We are applauding vigorously at the end of each tune. Thanks so much for doing this. Got any Cole Porter in that piano??
