I've been living a clutter free life and I've never felt better. It took me a while to realise that you should live your life for yourself and not others, hence I stopped buying things just for the sake of staying on trend or for the ability to say "I own that". Now, I don't buy anything I don't need. I mean hey, I'll buy something as a treat if I really want to, but now I know that I don't need everything to be happy. I have only bought one makeup product this year (one!!!) and it was my powder that I use everyday that I ran out of. I'm so proud of myself. You also did an amazing job, Andréa, it's very inspiring!:) x
That is awesome! I'm somewhat minimalistic in other areas of my life and I hate clutter, so I definitely wanted to try it with my makeup. It tends me an area where I struggle, but it feels good to clear out things I'm not using. Like you said, it's important to have things for you and not just because it's on trend! I had the tarte 12hr foundation and I think it made me break out a bit as well. Mine was older , maybe it went bad because I don't remember it causing breakouts when I first bought it. Great declutter!
I always think once the camera goes off in the de clutter videos, some people put back all of the products the said they were getting rid o right back were they got them from! I'm a makeup junkie myself it is not that easy to purge hahahaha! well at least not fot me!

I used to have really oily skin and I was pretty happy with the cover fx mattifying primer, MUFE step 1 mattifying primer or boots no. 7 mattifying primer. Hope that helps!
+michelle Anthony It's tough! I have a hard time find a good mattifying primer too! I do like the Tarte Poreless primer, which isn't matte, but it is waterproof! I find that it helps to control my oily skin, while helping my foundation to go on smoothly. The Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte primer is a good option, but it's not holy grail status for me. I will definitely keep you posted if I find a good one!
I have so many items from beauty boxes and colourpop lippies that I don't want/like. Anyone have an idea what I can do with them? I have no friends that are into makeup
my skin is so weird I have dry red patches and no matter if I use moisturizer and primer liquid foundation still clings to those patches. I only use loose mineral powder foundation because nothing else works. idk why.
+kristiekat That happens to me in the winter sometimes! I know how you feel because it can be really hard to find products that work well when that happens. Something that I really like is the elf Daily Moisture Stick! I use it for any areas that are super dry and it helps foundation to go on a little better!
