The bloated capacitor was not the culprit, see when I finished replacing the main capacitor, the time I tested it, The bloated capacitor was still there.
16:00 I love the way you tested the capacitor. Watch how it works and if it does what it's supposed to do. You are one of the smartest technician I have ever seen so far plus there is no BS in the videos just to make the video longer. Only pure diagnostics and repairs.
As far as i know the LED bars are available as spareparts direct replacement. One set is around 40 bucks and is plug and play. Thank you for the upload, great work.
Baka may natitira pang konting capacitance sir ung main cap kaya 318vdc p rin. Tas nong tinaggal nyo nainitan ng soldering iron tuluyan ng natuyuan ng langis ung cap 68uf/450v.. IMHO.. GOOD job sir😊
Most of the difuser fell off, instead of gluing all it back, his client preferred to change all the LED because it might fell off again and needs another service.
Hello Mr Teva, thanks for the video. I noticed on your video a capacitor that seemed swollen. It is located close to the output connector, its capacitor C234. Go to your video that you uploaded to the time 1:58. Have a look at the bottom of the power supply to the left of the plug. It is the second electrolytic capacitor left of the plug. Is this a camera illusion or do you need to replace it? Lots of love and kisses from South Africa.
Parabéns pelo vídeo você trabalha muito bem. Gostaria de saber quando você retira o fusível você colocou no lugar dele algum tipo de carga para ligar a placa o que e isso.
You are good man!!!❤❤❤ But my tv problem still cant solve😢 My tcon board loss power during i put two cable from T-con to LCD. All Tcon power will back after i remove 2 cable😅😅. Hope you reply and help me sir.😢 I am from poor family. I got expensive TV from LuckyDraw at my factory i work.. Just use the tv for 1 years 7 month.. My TV is panasonic 49"
Did you ever had the case of a LG 47LM640S "not turning on", flashing stand-by LED off/on in rhythm long/long, short/short short/short, then goong full stand-by after some cycles. Disconnected T-con, no change, disconnected backlight, no change. I'm lost 🥺 and don't do those things usually. But it's my TV and I don't want it to be dead.
19:35 why didn't you check the esr of the high voltage capacitor? 22:32 on the lower right near the yellow throttle there is a blown capacitor. why don't you check the esr of all capacitors anyway? this is the first priority!
Interesting to see a failed capacitor that showed no outward signs of failure. BTW, @25:15 the morse code that was heard says "Welcome to bakery station".
One thing am still confusing and am still learning how to connect the led in parallel. Suppose in a led tv. You have 3 led strips. Now you will to add all in paralel. Why can't use a hot air brower cause that method can easily result into board damage for a less experienced tech trying to learn from you. But Tevs I think there's a few techs who can repair electronics like you.

It's hard to belive but as you said don't judge a capacitor by its cover. Good video and a good lessons

Yes, I checked that capacitor. I dont discuss it in the video because it's not the cause of the power supply from not working.
Wonderful. Otherwise you could get a tv returning..

Hello. What is the value of the coiled resistance you use to carry out the test? Thanks
It was not a coil. It's a resistor 220 ohms 20watts.

What about the capacitor in the secondary output beside the yellow inductor? It looks like its ready to blow its top.
Your right. I did not include and discuss it in the video because it is not the culprit.

Give a contact to buy this led lights
where did you bought the LED modules? (link)

At least tell us what to search.. item no., something that helps us to identify it...
Maybe someone who knows what and where to find can help...
Learning a lot, someone who doesn't have a capacitor tester will sleep here
