I am here after watching Tuesdays State of the Union. I love seeing the President, Speaker, and Vice President being civil and everyone else. Saying this as a Trump voter. Would even love to see Trump like this.
They behave that way, because its what most people want to see, outside of camera view they still behave civil to each other, in other words, what you see on tv is all an act
I pray that we would have someone like him again for the sake of the generations to come and that everyone treated all people with respect and caring like they did then. God have mercy on us. We have Strayed so far from what is good and right.
When the Opposing Party continually gives you a standing ovation, you have done something great, yet he remained a humble Man to the end. He also felt he had not accomplished enough. If you go back to His speeches in the mid-60's he was advocating smaller government. Watch His speech on the Myth of the Great Society. Actually, government should spend less than it takes in and establish savings accounts or Sovereign Wealth Dividend Reinvestment Plans that earn compounding interest and compounding dividends that could be used to pay off government debt.
