I think in one regard you're correct, but I don't think I would say that if someone signed up for a month to month plan that they don't take their business seriously. You have to realize that a lot of people have been burned by prior host companies that might have started out great then finished pretty poorly. I know I have been burned several times by host companies to the point that I referred my clients to move from that host to another host several times because as mentioned for some reason it starts out great and ends up a terrible mess over time. I'd say some people that sign up with you guys on a month to month plan as a reseller might be testing you out before making a more solid commitment because if a business gets started and let's say a year from now the service goes to hell that affects their business more so than yours. I like a lot of the things you mentioned in the video and I myself after 10 plus years of being a developer decided to change gears and go into the reseller hosting business basically looking for a change. I've always wanted to do the hosting bit, but every host I've ever had in the past just seemed to sink to the bottom after the first year. I've spent thousands of dollars on dedicated servers that I had to shut down because of the crappy support when server-side software was failing like Apache and Nginx and they didn't want to spend even 5 mins looking to see if they could locate the cause. Meantime, I had websites spitting out 503 errors and the only question I got asked by the tech support was are you sure you are seeing a 503 error, well pull it up for yourself and tell me what you see... I recently moved to your company Name Hero and I'm trying to get my new business figured out and then we'll be launching. I've spent a lot of hours watching your videos and I like what I have been hearing. I have no problem making a commitment to a solid solution but giving the past experience I really need to see results before I make a 2 or 3-year commitment because at the end of the day how you run your business and how you maintain it affects everyone else under you.
James, couldn't agree with you more. I'm retired, live on a fixed income of just over $790.00 per month and I can't dole out 3-400.00 dollars to something that I don't even know if it's going to work or not. The other thing is I'm learning all the buzz words and tech talk just so that I can feel comfortable hosting people and I can answer their questions without sounding like an idiot. And like you said, it would be great to know that the parent company was going to be around for a while and not jump ship at the first sign of trouble leaving the resellers (US) hanging without any support net. As the old saying goes (Talk is Cheap), I have listened to hours and hours of grabbing this opportunity by the balls and running with it and you will see good things talk. Have a great day and good luck to you and your business (it's been a year since you made your post) so hope you're doing well!!!

I think the main reason is scaling in the beginning. You'll do this as a side job but your clients expect 24/7 support (and I know you guys provide that, but you still need to be 'the messenger', wich is not ideal when you're at your main job, unless you're a freelancer already.
If you sell a basic service for $10 a month, you will need 1,000 customers to earn $10k a month, but would that be profitable? Less expenses and serving 1,000 customers? Plus all the money you had to invest on Ads to get those 1,000? It looks it starts becoming profitable when you reach 10k customers, but not on 10 or 100…
Very true and sorry to say I've been guilty in the past more than I like admit trying to juggle multiple businesses and working long hours. Trying to find a single business to focus on and provide much higher quality of service hosting has been one idea I feel I could really put effort into
Hi, I recently started my web hosting business, what do you suggest are the best ways to advertise? How can I get customers? And I’m also not looking to spend thousands of dollars on ads either, so what so you think is the best way?
hey... I have been thinking of starting my own hosting business but trying to start small by Purchasing a few servers then home from home then expand in the future. I came on youtube searching for some advice and I found your videos...They are very intersting and helpful and leave me with this question. Should I start with buying and reselling your hosting services as a start for my business or go ahead and purchase some servers ?
Great question! I would start with one of our Reseller Hosting accounts and then add servers as your business grows! I actually just finished recording a FREE course that explains how all of this works step-by-step. Feel free to enroll here: startuphero.thinkific.com/courses/reseller-hosting-101
It’s useless believe me because there is one reseller hosting company I saw with so horrible pricing 5$/mo for 1 gb storage. Well that’s the worst pricing ever. I think there is no use to make a business it , if it succeeded anyways it’s actually means u are fooling clients, they can directly buy from godaddy or bluehost for very cheap....
I just got a reseller account with you guys. I got it with the monthly because I don't have the cash to pay for a year or I would have. I really want to succeed. Once I get a few customers I plan to pay for the yearly. I just need to find a good way to get customers first lol.
I'd encourage you to signup for one of our accounts just to give it a fair test. We have plenty of customers in SG (beautiful country btw) that are very happy. Given our platform is built for speed and also allows customers to use Cloudflare w/Railgun we really decrease the latency. But still, we are working on getting servers in SG and other countries, but unfortunately don't have an exact timetable on when.
Hello, I really enjoyed the video and all of the vids that you post. Im an android box dealer at the local flea market part time in South Carolina. Ive been selling these devices for about a year. Ive driven trucks full time for about 11 years now. I'm interested in taking my business to the next level. I am wanting to resell an iptv service to my customers. I watched a few RUclipsrs and I see a few of them using your services. I don't totally understand how your business and services can assist me, but if so I'm very eager to learn more. I would love to hear from you so that I can begin my journey. I will be taking the weekend off so that I can educate myself further. Any suggestions you may have will greatly be appreciated. Thanks Wendell Aikens
Hi Ryan, am considering a reseller hosting account, just watched your video with Darrel. am gathering all my details right now. what I couldn't find online is how to add the first year discount price. Eg as listed in Name Hero Site. the first-year discount pricing $ 19.77 following year normal price $39.95. is there any videos on the same on Name Hero's RUclips channel? couldn't seem to find it. Thanks.

NameHero, which web hosting you suggest, is the best for me to start reselling hosting being lived in Pakistan
Our most popular is the Corporate Hero because it comes with WHMCS for free.
