I have stopped smoking for about 2 weeks and I have to tell you it is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I did it because I wanted to not because of my health but my husband had a heart attack and I needed to stop smoking 🚭. Congratulations to your son and I hope he turns to God and asks for His help because he is not alone.🙏🙏🙏❤😊🙏🙏🙏
I really love when Fr. Dave was explaining psalm 107 it feels like a friend is explaining it to you, and I feel privilege to have them all as friends. May God bless the world, and especially bless those whom have placed prayer requests in these comments, but as always may it be Your will God as you always know what is best for your flock.

sadness has come over me. I know he is in a better place, but still I miss him.
Praise be to God, I am just finishing up my first long solo trip, I have been alone before though this time was about for a month and a half. That being said I was not alone because God was with me this whole time. Hearing amazing grace, which is one of my favorite church songs was so amazing. God is real, God is present.

Thank you Fr. Dave for the Sunday Masses, your guidance, prayer, and especially the prayer "bless them change me" and our storms. Everyday I pray to God to help me with that special prayer and to thank Him for helping me with enemies within me and next me , blessing them with hope and love.
I feel fortunate that I can attend your online mass weekly, and even during the week if I have missed a Sunday mass. Thank you for your hope for us, guidance, and thoughtfulness.

Thank you Father Dave. First time seeing your mass service. I’m usually at my parish. Pray for my parish St. Gabriel’s, our old church building is over 138 years old, and is now closed waiting to be sold. We’re now sharing another Parishes building, and we don’t have a permanent priest we need a bilingual priest English and French. We’re in Montreal . We need prayers to bring some more of our parishioners back to our church services. Amen and thank you father Dave and your parishioners and prayer community. Amen.

Thank you Father Dave again for your time. I am asking for all who go to mass online to please keep the homeless. I live in Brier Creek Pennsylvania a small area up in the mountains of Pennsylvania in our small town there is a homeless man today it was 93° he's standing out there he had to be hard so we got him water and some food but it made me think of how lucky we are. My husband and I were wondering how many people saw him out there and just drove by him and didn't even think of a way to help him it makes me so sad. Thank you, Maureen

Wonderful mass and homily. Yes, that prayer works as I became aware of it from you a while back. Storms are part of life and it's up to us to pray to God for strength and wisdom to get thru it knowing He is with us. My mom had plastic runners on our carpet and still had to take shoes off. My son is an adult and asks me to take my shoes off. Unreal, I get it from two generations

Beautiful Homily Fr. Dave our Lord calmed the windstorm for me as I have tarps on my roof with heavy stones to hold the tarp. Wind too strong stones tumbled around I was very scared. I'm praying for a new roof but financially unable😢

Father Dave: A few years ago, someone who I love very much was seriously injured, physically and emotionally, by a drunk driver. I often struggle with my emotions concerning that driver and it is difficult to pray for the drunk driver (although I try). Yesterday (maybe not coincidentally), I watched the movie “Tender Mercies “ on Prime and your homily was was very helpful and heartfelt to me. It was like the final epitaph watching the show, which struck me considerably. (I recommend the movie, perhaps it is a redemption tale; they don’t make them like that anymore). Thank you for all you do…

Fr. Dave, another great Mass and very relatable homily! When you spoke about people who blame God when something bad happens or their prayers aren't answered the way they believe they should be, I could relate. Not me personally but of some bereaved patents in a FB Group I belong to. There are many who have lost their faith since their child die, believe there is no God because if there was their child/children would still be alive!
After the loss of my son four years ago, my faith is what has helped me to get through this most difficult time! I don't "blame" God not do i think He is cruel! I know that i will see my son one day! I really enjoyed your explanation of Psalm 107. Your Masses and Homillys are very educational and reinstill what i learned in grade and high school. Thank you Fr. Dave. You are in my daily prayer!

Father Dave thanks for your wonderful homilies as I always take a pearl from them. I do remember your homily about Bless him change me. It has helped me as well. I was watched your mass over Memorial Day weekend and afterwards my dog, Reggie, had a medical emergency. Please keep him in your prayers as he had to have a splenectomy and thankfully the tumors on his spleen were hematoma not cancer. Again thank you.

I like that idea of putting the naysayers, gossip ~ers and those who are judgmental to others , when we do not know their entire story.
