I was in a full blown anxiety attack. I put fr Dave on he helped me before. He brought me right in front of God I can breath now. Please pray for these horrible attacks they affect my special needs child adult sister who is a gift from God her heart is so pure she deserves rainbows not to be around anxiety. God must have known that I needed him in my life more than ever. When I found you online, I was in a very dark inside place and needed God and guidance. I TOTALLY LOVE the fact that in the Homily you are laying down the correct path for a successful n God filled life!! As parents n caregivers today we must give our children OUR gifts of language n living qualities n Religion until they are old enough n have enough experience to investigate others n judge for themselves what paths they want to follow without being judged about their choices when they have been equipped by us to discern them for themselves. This is all we can do, expose them to the tools WE have at hand n equipt them to go further in exploring the rest of the world so they are fit to make their own decisions, then continue to love n accept them after they have chosen their own way!!! WONDERFUL sermon, Father Dave, on Father's duties on Father's Day 🙏!!! Thank you for inspiring me to wax philosophical this afternoon!!! In addition , today my dog Howie has swelling on the side of cheek . He has been eating and drinking but not himself. He's on meds but still not my Howie . You described me to a “t”; I fought CCD. I loved it once I was there but getting me there involved walking me right up the classroom door. Never realized the importance until well into my adult years; I am so glad I was made to go. Grateful for the spirituality of my family.

Thanks for a great homily Father Dave! It’s tough if only 1 parent is catholic and trying to raise kids catholic. I am mom who raised my 3 kids catholic. Today non of my kids are practicing Catholics. My son is practicing Methodist, and my 2 daughters do not practice at all. Please pray that someday they find their way.
Father, if it is possible to add a prayer next week about those who are unemployed, looking for work, and struggling to find their right position in this world, I would much appreciate it. I love seeing you Jess and Diane every week! God bless you
Had to worship remotely on Sunday as we're in ct. Visiting our daughter and family. You may not believe it but I needed that tire pressure gage not once but twice last weekend as 2 tires on separate occasions were low on air. Was that God talking to me ?

Another thoughtful homily, Father Dave!...I remembered you also used the analogy of a foundation to a house....If there is no foundation, how can the house be constructed properly....Using the language analogy, brings it to even a deeper meaning, and makes total sense....God bless you Father Dave!
Thank you, Father Dave! I had to laugh when you spoke about having Mass in a gym! Honestly, I grew up attending Mass in the gym at my Parish for many years as funds were raised to build the beautiful church that now stands. The hoop was raised just in front of Christ on the cross. Needless to say, I played basketball for many years right into college! 😂🏀

I wish the Catholic Church would allow women to have a larger role in the church. There is such a shortage of priests. Perhaps it is time to allow women to take over some of the roles of the priests? I think that many women would be wonderful deacons.
