I almost bought one for my tracker heritage but they told me drilling any holes in the back would void my warranty. Maybe I will get one and the extra screw on mounting bracket.
i believe they make a clamp that will just clamp to your boat , i dont know how sturdy it would be though ... i think it might be a kayak thing .. but yea iam sure somewhere there is a warrnty voided .
I put a Micro Power pole on my Tracker Classic XL and Tracker told me that it might compromise the warranty but only on the stern where it is mounted. The rest of the boat like the hull/deck is still covered. As far as the clamp goes DON'T. I tried to use that but there is two problems. One, you have to put it on the left side of the motor and even over as far as you can go the piston from the motor turning hits the clamp preventing full turn. Two, the anchor takes so much torque driving the spike that it actually will move your boat. It's so much torque pushing up on the clamp every time that it came loose after one day. It was painful drilling the holes but that anchor is the best thing I've added besides the Helix 10.
Garin Wenninghoff congratulations on getting your new rig !!! It does not fit tho , there is a spot on the port side of the boat that I lay it on , use a rod strap to keep it in place !! Good luck !!
No sir , I have taken off accross the lake at 6500 rpms in some pretty rough water and never had a prob , I back it all the way up and notch it back down just a hair . My boat will only do around 33 to 35 mph on a good day lol .

I have the same bass tracker boat with a 20 h.p motor on it. However I always fish with my dad, so will this anchor still work? I saw it works for boats under 1500 pounds. Im not sure exactly what the boat weighs. thanks
It would work fine , the only time I use it now is when I bank the boat , I recently upgraded my trolling motor to the terrova with spot lock , if I were you I would save up and just get that , I promise you won’t regret it.

Have had the micro anchor on my 2017 basstracker pro team 175 txw for 2yrs and and it is well worth the money and works very well for this size boat.

Power-Pole has a specific bracket for mounting the Power-Pole that will not void the Tracker warranty - model PKB-T-4-0-U-BK

CA, I was told the same thing even if I drilled holes for rod holders. Pretty sure these boats are way to heavy for the clamped on version.

How heavy is your motor? I have a 17.8 feet aluminium , 65 hp. not sure if its more than 1500 pound

I got the 12v 55lb . It’s plenty. It held me on a main lake point while pontoons and wake boats were running by .
Ran it hard for close to ten hours before it died and I mean pretty much ran it the entire time lol . Annnd prob only had my battery at 60%

im thinking of getting a 170 also. I have a micro anchor as well. do you find it holds the boat down since the spike is rated to hold 1500 pounds?
It’s holds great 👍 take into consideration the bottom and how deep you are , I have an 8 foot spike it works well in 5 ‘ or less . Good luck !
Yeah I fish out of a kayak now so I only get like 6 foot out of the 8 foot spike
