    Beautiful! So when building it out at the bottom, always add quads at a time or is it ever ok to use clusters?

    • @balloonsbylee
      @balloonsbylee  Год назад

      Both! Still figuring it out but right now I add a quad then a cluster next to it to make sure no big gaps are showing.

    This is GORG!!! I love your work. Do you go back to the venue to take down set ups like this or leave instructions w/ your client for breakdown? Also, how do you feel about Gaffers tape?

    • @balloonsbylee
      @balloonsbylee  Год назад

      Thank you so much babe! Nope, the clients are advise to pop all the balloons when the event is finished. If they want me to return to breakdown that will be another fee and depending on how far I may decline. I only return if they rented something from me, of course. I love gaffers tapes! I leave a roll in my bag at all times. Never know if I need it.

    Love, Love, Love it! Another Gorgeous Setup Lee! Do you prefer the "H" taping method over Command hooks? I love how the bottom flared out... you know we as decorators could just keep going and going.. It's like that movie the Mask "Somebody stop me" haha...

    • @balloonsbylee
      @balloonsbylee  Год назад

      😂 Yes!! I have to stop myself every time! I think command hooks are quicker to attach then H method but I never feel secure leaving a command hook. I’m so nervous it may fall off even if I did all the appropriate steps. So the H method gives me a peace of mind when leaving but it’s a headache to do. Lol.

    This is beautiful!!! How do you know what to charge for each set up?

    • @balloonsbylee
      @balloonsbylee  Год назад +1

      Thank you! I charge per FT and depending on the backdrop, prop, or area I’ll be working on I kind of guess what size FT to charge based on my style of designing.
      My minimum per FT for any on site installs right now is 18FT.

    If you can do a slow video of how you attach the clusters as I’m doing balloons myself for my daughters birthday, I do wanna learn the way you attaching them together, looks easy and fast thanks

      I use the neck to neck method it’s great for creating a durable balloon garland.

    As I’m learning, I am feeling like I can set up much quicker! How long did this set up take? (Aside from having to go get the tape 😢)

    • @balloonsbylee
      @balloonsbylee  Год назад

      Exactly how I feel every time lol! Roughly 50mins not including the times I stopped to inflate.

    This is beautiful! How do you price for for something like this?

    • @balloonsbylee
      @balloonsbylee  Год назад +1

      Thank you! I still price per FT (Length + Width included)

    • @shade8777
      @shade8777 Год назад

      @Balloons By Lee I still struggle with this. I might quote someone for 12ft, but end up giving them way more 🤦🏾‍♀️

    • @balloonsbylee
      @balloonsbylee  Год назад +1

      @@shade8777 That is so me! I learned the way I design I give fuller looks. My hands can’t help it lol. My minimum is 18FT just to be safe but what I do now is I count the FT after the setup so next time a client reach out and want something similar I have the correct FT to charge. Sometimes designs change on site and in order to make sure you walk away with a good setup you’ve to do extra. We’ll get better at it though!!
