I have a few tips for your modpack: 1. The man from the fog struck you with lighting. It’s a way to stop people from cheesing him by towering above him 2. You cannot deal damage to the man from the fog with conventional means (Sword, Bow, TNT, etc). The only way to kill him is to use a chronodyne generator. It’s a part of the weeping angels mod, but fair warning, either stand back, or block yourself away from it because as soon as it’s powered, it will suck all entities in and kill them 3. Slenderman can be cheesed. If you stay outside of his biome, you won’t get the blindness, and he won’t spawn. If he does spawn, tower up 4 blocks and wait Update: I just discovered you can kill the Man From The Fog with powdered snow. It makes him seem weaker ngl

14:24 i have commented about that last video so ill just say the same thing here, that creature you saw is known as the hidebehind [whisperwoods mod mob] they hunt their prey [usually humans] by following them while making various sounds to disorientate the unfortunate victim, if the target should ever look in the direction of the hidebehind, it will quickly hide behind the nearest object [usually tall trees or large bushes, however rocks and tree stumps work too due to the hidebehind's unnatural ability to hide behind anything perfectly] once the target averts their gaze elsewhere, the hidebehind will simply remove itself from it's hiding spot and continue hunting it's victim, upon reaching the victim the hidebehind will attack the poor soul and kidnap them, then it will proceed to drag them back to it's lair [usually depicted as a cave of some sort] and will proceed to feast on the flesh of whoever it has captured

I’m gonna be real with you man, the reason why I like this series so much is because of the atmosphere you set and also how the videos are edited. The vibe that you bring when you talk to us even though we can’t give an immediate response is just nice. Makes us feel like we’re included despite the fact we’re not actually there. As for the editing, it seems the “industry standard” is fast paced, blink and you’ll miss it cuts, subtitles, sound effects for every little thing, and the same five upbeat songs. These videos, however, have none of this and that’s a good thing! I feel like I can come here to just chill after watching whatever fast-n-flashy video thats out there. The villigar breeder works if you have enough beds. You either need to place 1 bed for each new villager. Or transport the babies atleast 64 blocks away from the breeder. You can seperate the babies with trapdoors and waterstreams.
My favourite genre is watching people get absolutely jump-scared. The sound editing of this makes it so real and so scary and I love it. This has got to be just the best videos on youtube. Plus you are hilarious!
Village build ideas: A town hall to house all the materials you will need to make the rest of the village. A convenient place for all your material needs. Maybe add a cool feature like a giant custom tree that shoots out the middle of it or something. A wizard tower where you can snipe all the nasties. It could double as a convenient spot for all your potion needs bc you are most likely going to need potions to fight all of the powerful terrors. Some watch towers with some snow golems in them. They might not be the best method of defense against all the creeps, but they might at least draw attention away from you.
I absolutely LOVE this series it's always depressing when another episode ends but there such joy when a new one drops. Hope this keeps going for a while- my favourite youtube series at the moment:)

I really like your videos Calvin! And you asked for some ideas on what to build in the village! So I recommend this: -A watchtower and maybe defense plan (defense plan idea by @astroherelol) -Walls around the village (light it up so that fewer mods spawn also add some upside-down stairs at the top of the wall facing the outside so the the angels and spiders, and maybe the fog man, can't get in.) -some nice, simple houses, maybe some flowerbeds -village garden because I think it would look nice. -maybe an underwater base because think about it, the fog man can't get you, normal mods can't get you apart from the drowned, you can fish in peace if you build something that will allow you too, and who knows, maybe Herobrine can't get you down there as well. -an apartment building to keep track of the villagers better (maybe build it once the population gets higher) Idea by @sagey08-backlash -a Church to potentially keep Herobrine away. The villigar breeder works if you have enough beds. You either need to place 1 bed for each new villager. Or transport the babies atleast 64 blocks away from the breeder. You can seperate the babies with trapdoors and waterstreams.

Village build ideas:
A town hall to house all the materials you will need to make the rest of the village. A convenient place for all your material needs. Maybe add a cool feature like a giant custom tree that shoots out the middle of it or something.
A wizard tower where you can snipe all the nasties. It could double as a convenient spot for all your potion needs bc you are most likely going to need potions to fight all of the powerful terrors.
Some watch towers with some snow golems in them. They might not be the best method of defense against all the creeps, but they might at least draw attention away from you.

I really like your videos Calvin! And you asked for some ideas on what to build in the village! So I recommend this:
-A watchtower and maybe defense plan (defense plan idea by @astroherelol)
-Walls around the village (light it up so that fewer mods spawn also add some upside-down stairs at the top of the wall facing the outside so the the angels and spiders, and maybe the fog man, can't get in.)
-some nice, simple houses, maybe some flowerbeds
-village garden because I think it would look nice.
-maybe an underwater base because think about it, the fog man can't get you, normal mods can't get you apart from the drowned, you can fish in peace if you build something that will allow you too, and who knows, maybe Herobrine can't get you down there as well.
-an apartment building to keep track of the villagers better (maybe build it once the population gets higher)
