A lot of those pressures you mentioned, are "CULTURAL", which we don't have any control over, BUT what we do have control over is OURSELVES and the choices we make :D Kpop Idol dance practices are pretty well known as EXTREMELY INTENSE - practicing for multiple hours non-stop, even days! For that soul purpose, to be as clean and precise as possible, to the point it becomes natural.
I have heard of fourteen-hour days of training and drilling the dances into muscle memory as being a normal thing for the big companies. That's INSANE, but that's how it seems to be overseas. I'm sure OG can confirm this.

Itzy (and Twice) always has performance like no other girl group - just constant moving, bouncing, dancing, and energy throughout the songs with very little breaks along with unique and abundant usage of arm/hand choreo that seems to be JYPE tradition since Wonder Girls. There are good dancers in other groups but Itzy ALWAYS stands out cause Itzy feels like they're DANCING with good choreo instead of how other groups feel like they do choreo with splashes of dancing.
Itzy and Twice are from the same company, which is JYPE. And JYP always makes sure everything in the dance is absolutely PER-FECT, he watches their performances frame by frame to see if they're perfectly synchronized and makes them repeat over and over.

Yay my favorite ITZY title track, for me this title track captures ITZY completely and that is why I love it, this title track also despite very polarizing to MIDZYs won them 12 awards and also solidified their position as a strong contender for best gg in terms of dance, and performance in kpop in general. Also the video is just so beautifully edited, and the song, its so funky and experimental that's why you wont get bored. The dance is very chill but at the same time very amazing. Hi OG, thanks for not making me feel too old. I'm 40 yrs old and absolutley love ITZY. I honestly didn't know too much of any kpop but my daughter was getting more heavily into it. And on my RUclips feed they came up when they toured last year here in America. And I remember just being memorized by them and I asked my daughter about them she didn't know too much so we looked them up and both became instant Midzy. I now listen to more kpop but I'm only stan of theirs. They just give such an awesome vibe. I can't wait till they can tour over here again.

I like what you said about them exuding confidence. They came out with a video, kinda like a video diary to their fans of just being 100% honest and raw with their thoughts. And they all had amazing stories of stress and how they can feel demoralized by so much around them. But 2 of them in particular, Lia and Chaeryeong, both confessed some extremely deep issues they had and basically said they do not feel, or relate, to the lyrics that they sing about or the messages behind them because of the way they're treated by certain types of fans.
Icy is on my top list in all Itzy's title tracks. I don't know many people don't vibe with it but geezz idk why i love this so much. I still listen to it until now, it has the same feels when I listen to Twice's More and More.

They group was formed by auditions in Japan and then a select group of people from the audition got to train in South Korea and then the final group was formed. The show is called Nizi Project if you wanted to watch it. I recommend listening to Make You Happy first which is from their pre-debut album so you can get used to the members and if you want listen to Step and a Step which is from their debut album. That song is very sentimental towards a member Miihi who had to go on hiatus due to health reasons. The lyrics and the meaning of the music video is very heartfelt.
