- Today we go shopping for some Extremely Rare Pokemon Cards around Tokyo in Japan. I found a few Pokemon Card shops that sell Rare and Vintage Pokemon Cards. The walls are lined with Full Arts and GX and EX cards! They even have Ultra Rare Pokemon Base Set Booster Packs and base Set 1st Edition Charizards. What do you think of what I managed to find hidden away?

We’re in Tokyo now and went to the first store, Cherumo. My kids went nuts in that tiny little store. I’m fairly certainly they drove them nuts! We got the $30 mystery bag and a ton of other cool and rare cards. But can anyone tell us other stores to visit while we are here? Thx in advance.

6:20 if you are wondering why those "base set" cards where so expensive,it's because they are from the so famous "NO RARITY" set. It's a print of the first base set happened in the first months of the birth of TCG pokemon. They have plenty of errors inside them,plus the symbol of the rarity is missing, and also the quality of the paper with which the card was done is awful,making good conditions no rarity cards the most rare things on the entire pokemon card market.
In fact,those who dare aim for the complete no rarity base set are aiming for the stars, because it's not just a very expensive goal,but in terms of time and luck needed to find those cards... geez,it's just insane
The resale potential for this stuff in the US, UK and Australia would be insane

5:58 idk if anyone noticed but these are actually no rarity symbol cards, including both of the zards and the blastoise.. as rare if not rarer than a shadowless 1st ed zard. PSA 9 sold for $50,000 recently

The red bag is called fukubukuro or "lucky bag". Theyre common in shops in and around Christmas/New Years.

I lived in japan for 3 years and stores like these are everywhere btw bro look for poncho pikachu cards if you go there a japan only card o was able to pick up the poncho pikachu rayquaza duo and noq that I'm in amaerica I can't find the poncho pikachu Gyarados double that isnt 600 online lol

So that japanese charizard base card for $1900 was a no rarity (no star on bottom corner) card so very rare. Just incase some didnt know as ando didnt know lol

That $1,900 base charizard was a no rarity symbol basically considered 1st edition Japanese base set. probably the rarest charizard a in the world with FAR less graded then even 1st edition English base charizard.

The charizard was a "non rarity charizard" (It had no rarity Symbol in the bottom right corner). Probably the rarest and most expensive normal Pokemon Card in the world cause it"s the "first edition" japanese base set one
