There are two reasons for the need to put covers on the seats: to protect the original upholstery from wear or to protect the original upholstery from prying eyes when it is already worn. The principles of selection are the same in both cases.

i just bought the same brand but for a 2018 Malibu i this video gave me and idea how to install them but really didn't need the round clip or hooks for front seat they fit like a glove in my wife's Malibu but for the back seat it was impossible my wife car has leather seats and couldn't get none of the hooks in and it looks terrible but did see a video where i can see try to take the back seat out see if thats work other wise good video

Really major problem though, there are no hooks, clips or holds, to secure front seat back to front seat cushion (center between seat back and lower part of seat). So because no holds, the front seat slides side to side, moving continues back and forth until nil hold on entire front seat covers x 2. Velcro supplied with, are of insufficient strength/ interlock, minimal pressure will leave the cover loose and falling away. These issues occurred after the 2nd passenger sat on it. Other members of my family have since sat front and rear a period of a year. These seat covers do not look very attractive, now they make the interior of the car look ugly. You did a really good vid. it's not you, it's the whole seat covers poor design. Kind Regards

I tried twice. First try wasn't turned out good. 2nd time, looks better. I got that seat covers until now.
