April Virtual Garden Tour, Maryland

  • This is my first attempt at a virtual garden tour. I hope to focus on different plants and aspects of the garden in different months. This month is an overview of the garden and the plants flowering in April. One of the highlights is the stormwater swale with Packera aurea, golden ragwort. I include many native plants in my garden as well as sustainable gardening practices. At the end of the video is a plant list of the plants mentioned during the tour.

      @@SylvanGreenEarth Absolutely - it is what I have missed more than anything. I have worked hard on/in my business and loved every minute...but I would love a garden with vegetables and herbs - like yours! and you have shrubs and flowers. Before I re-commence cooking classes, I am going to work next on my balcony herb garden to get it up for spring.

    Loved your tour. Would love to get the names of your plants (the scroll list at the end of video is a little fast for me)
