I was enthralled by D Soraki's winning dance at the 2022 Red Bull Dance. Thinking back, I came back to watch this video again, remembering that it was the Ichigeki showcase that captivated me before that. I am still numb anytime I watch it. It doesn't matter what genre.

I was there .. and as far as i can remember one the crew lost somebody in his life. So this Show is a dedication... made my cry watching this. Very emotional moment.

Ah yes, the famous routine from 2005. A definite classic, deserving winners of the best show award. Personally I might have given the award to Last For One, but then I thought Ichigeki should have won the final battle, so what do I know :P
@Weghweh Hwewehwhe It's one of the hard parts about using a crew performance to rate who should be in what semi final battle, one thing doesn't have anything to do with the other. This was one of the best shows the BOTY has ever seen and yet when it came to battle time it was such a mismatch. Last For One would go out and have well rounded solos and then Quic from Ichigeki would go out and basically flop on the ground for 30 seconds. Even Katsu's rounds in the battle were kind of nonsense, Last For One had precision and athleticism and he would go out and rub the dance floor with his hand while making other weird hand gestures.

誰が考えたんだか、とんでもないショーケース。コンテンポラリーダンスとブレイクダンスを融合したようなこの内容はBOTYの歴史に残るはず。。多くのチームがスキルに走る2021年現在、良くも悪くも一撃を超えるクルーは未だに現れず。カッコよすぎるぜ一撃。Botyに挑戦した日本人チームが残した凄い記録はブッチギリでフロリアーズですが、記憶はダントツでこの一撃ショーケースでしょう。

日本に住んでいる外人だけど。高校生のごろはこのパフォーマンスを見た。信じられなかったよ。あの時でも日本のbboyの能力が知られていたよ。
