Surely "detent" is the regular default instrument setting. If you roll EQs all the way down you are cutting those frequencies from the pickups' natural output. P.S. Your birdie friend with his feet in the air might be getting a sore butt from supporting all his weight on it :p

That bass looks horrible even from looking at in on a video... Just look at the trussrod cover - says it all about the attention they give to guitarmaking in China. Square angles everywhere, good thing the neck is not square (probably close to it lol). Plus sorry to say but this is a crime, supporting crooks who steal designs and logos of an American company, bringing it to the USA should and I think IS breaking the law (my guess is if the customs knew about it they would seize it). Can't afford a Fodera, buy a Squier - it will sound much better than this.
