Like, Instead of wanting more than I had, I just…became content with what I had and my life as a whole. Gysame in my opinion, darling in the franxx is my favourite anime. I'm also not big on mecha genre either, however the character development, relationships, and choices is very well done. It makes you laugh, cry, wanna punch the screen, and everywhere in-between. Highly, highly recommend watching it. With evangelion, I haven't watched it myself, but from everybody I know that has watched it say it was amazing, long duration, also great characters and development.
Evangelion doesn't like the mecha genre either, give it a shot and see if you like it. It's only one season after all.

this is such a beautiful yet lonely anime. everyone has their problems and we really get a glimpse and it made me realize how meaningless this life is. so many people strive for things that dont matter.
who cares if you got a thousand likes on your recent post? who cares if they see you all dolled up? does your physical image matter that much?
people are selfish, that's just the human nature but this made me realize that i'm not the main character, everyone else has their struggles. the girl/guy that you get jealous over 100% is jealous over someone else and has their own issues eating at them.
