These temples are extraordinary. It is a pity they are not as well known as other famous monuments around the world.
Definitely with divine help. However, we probably never unlocked the "secret" of this marvel
A study of the quarry and chisel marks can reveal a lot of the methods and excavation techniques employed.
Don't sell the ancestors short :) The divine might contribute the motivation. The people have to cut the rock. Time and motivation moves mountains.
