Gill also had two broken bones in his neck that did not require surgery. 1:32:50 1:37:13 Ron Burchette sustained a concussion in his crash and was hospitalized. The other two incidents, 2:47:04 3:33:17 while scary looking, everyone was ok. Old Atlanta was a tough ol' joint!

Never saw a race before or since that had so many drivers injured- many seriously- or so many completely destroyed cars.
