If you get in good with a few local builders that start with raw land to houses, it's almost a guaranteed flow of money. From clearing to finish grading and everything in between. That's all one of my buddies does now. Start to finish for 2 builders, and he's went from a solo company to him riding around checking on 10 guys doing the work in 4 or 5 years.
I was considering digging the foundation for my house this summer but I decided not to.. my house is 28-6x58 and I have a Komatsu pc40… I decided to let the guy with the cat 315 do it lol
Nothing to be ashamed of. I have been in this business over 30 years and operating longer. I still get nervous excavating for trench pours (no forms). Give me a WALMART OR TARGET Parking lot to grade and I feel right at home.
Yes this would be awesome I got a few foundation digouts that I already did but not sure if my grades were right. I mean they built houses on them already but would like to learn more.
i'm digging my first one in 2 weeks perfect time for this video to come out. do you own that 60 now or are you renting it? thanks man keep up the good work
Nah, I let Cory do it since we were in a time crunch. We are getting ready to do a custom home and I’ll do all the diggin on it. I was basically a student on this one
That’s the best way to learn. Just grab it and growl! 🤣🤣🤣
This is for that same builder I called you about a few months ago! I got two more foundations to do for him. Figure you’d be happy with this video 😂
@@MORE_DIRT yup, those repeat customers will keep you running wide open, nice!
Appreciate you helping me out!
I am also scared of foundations but got start somewhere. Thanks for the video Cole! Stay blessed!

@@MORE_DIRTdo you do septics also?
@@mando5cadillac not at this time, it’s something I plan to get into in the future.
When doing a footer for a home builder like this are you contacting someone to come out and check for utilities or the home builder is?
We tore down the existing home and relocated all utilities already before we began the foundation.
@@MORE_DIRT So you were responsible for having someone come out to locate?
Yes, we call 811.
@@MORE_DIRT I got you, thanks for the info
That is a nice, clean job. Did you get to do any excavator work to hone your skills ? ? --

@@MORE_DIRT - He's a clean operator. Who knew going to school could be so much fun 😀-- Keep up the hard work. We are rooting for each other out here.
