Your video is very useful for carrying out Probit regression in SPSS.The independent variables that you have used are all either scalar or dichotomous but I have categorical independent variables which have more than two categories. Please suggest whether I should put the variables in factors or covariant while running the probit regression in SPSS. It would be great if you could also suggest about interpretation of output.

Hello!! Great video, really helpful. Just wanted one clarification, I am new to this, in the OLS model we first check the CLRM assumptions and then run it, do we need to similarly check for some assumptions in the Probit Model also? If yes, what are those assumptions and how to check if they are valid for my data? Thank you!!

Hi Mike thanks for your clear explanation! I was wondering, how can we do a probit regression with moderators? Hope to hear from you!

The link you provide does not include an explanation for how to interpret the goodness of fit statistics produced using the genlin procedure. The genlin procedure also doesn't produce the pseudo r-squared statistic that is produced in the link provided. Any help would be appreciated!

The video was based on the presentation at stats.idre.ucla.edu/spss/output/probit-regression/. At that website they provide more detail on interpretation of results. Cheers!
