You probably have them by now, but the GRP Tires once warmed up stick you to the road. You know they're good tires when fine gravel gets stuck to them. Made with kevlar so last a lot longer than Hoons, cheaper. They hook up straight. Can drift. But didn't if you don't want to. That's when warming up. Lol. First set still about 85% but wanted different color this time. Right after buying the horns which are fun but you can't give it the beans immediately and expect them rear wheels not to try and come around.and about to drop the spool in. Running 1m but want to try something new. And I can swap out depending on what I'm doing.
Hello brother Can i know what is the timing on your program sitting? Because my typhon hit 101 with same set up and tire So im wondering what is the problem with your car ? I know its old video put want to share my experience in this situation with you
@@patparsons8732I just started building mine into a speed car and I personally got about 68-70 mph stock and 78.2mph with speed gear. I’m currently trying to hit 100 myself and am just waiting on front tires… should see 100mph tomorrow if all goes well
@@robbmatherly6816 at the time I was waiting on silver Dboot hoons. But since this comment I’ve tried bsr pink foams and now I’m currently waiting on grp. I am currently hitting speeds of 121mph hoping I can keep pushing and gear up a little more
try running somewhere that doesn't have curbs at each end!! find yourself 1/8 mile or more to run. your having to brake before you get any speed. speed runs are squeeze the trigger and hold it for 8-10seconds.

I'd love it if GRP would make a lil taller tire. Same compound but the height of the Hoons. Or Arrma put out a kevlar type tire like the said GRPs..🤙

If I recall on this and I was having electrical problems keep me from hitting top speed I figured that out once I got home
I put Duratrax Banditos on mine and they seem to stick pretty good. I got 75.0 MPH with the stock gearing on 6s.
Must of been 2.8s or 3.8, stock gearing isn’t close to 75

Nice what size screws did you use to mount the wheelie bar to the bottom of the car?
stock ones
i would say it's because of the weight distribution. it's hard o control after u added the wheelie bar
