Good review about the Dog lice and how it effects the value of the hide, consider that the dressing is about 50$ then there is not much left for parka trim out of those hides. Each red squirrel is about a litre of fuel so keep at it. As for "555" keep moving forward, one of the hazards of your occupation has bite you.

Well that definitely cuts down on the feed bill when they can graze like that. I feel good if i can wait until mid December to start feeding hay but that doesn't always happen. With it being warm, does that affect the fur or do they say hey its November its time to grow a heavy coat.
I'm loving that the cattle can still graze. Doesn't happen often in this country. Its saving me a pile of feed The cold makes some difference with fur growth but apparently the biggest factor is the shorter daylight hours. That triggers the fur growth. We got snow here in Ontario now. I’m waiting for enough snow for the skidoo before I start snaring. I got video of a black yote on game camera, I’ll be sharing that in the next week or so. Love the videos, 👍✌️

Good Morning!! Do those power ram snares have locks, or just a snare loop? I don't think they are legal here in Idaho? Since it does have a break away, they might be. We have to have either a loop stop, or a break away on our snares. I don't see it in the rule book, but it used to say, no powered snares or tip ups....they might have changed that now? Those shoulder mites are sure a terrible thing. I'm glad we don't have that problem. It's a shame to waste a coyote, but like you said, if they can't be used, it's a waste of time to put 'em up. Tires can cost more than the trucks I buy!! Crazy! Everything has gotten so high priced it's ridiculous! That second coyote is sure nice and fluffy. I haven't watched Dwayne in awhile, what's wrong?

It does both in my opinion. Some animals move more in the warmer weather but some move less. I've always found that I catch more Fisher when it's warm. I have to get more sets out. Thanks Ed and have a good night.

How is dwayne doing brother? Is he still having problems? The last time him and i talked he said he was feeling better. I have the same heart problems he does.
Dwayne went into the hospital and has been diagnosed with cancer. He has a fight ahead but we know he isn't a quitter and he's tougher than nails. Say a prayer for him.

Shame about the first dog. Intresting to see the snares see how there done over there with you it's cold over here in the Highlands of Scotland been -4 got up 2 deg c today. Catching a few squirrels good fun you will have some nice bait. I remember chopping a fair bit of wood with my father but used it ourselves. The second fog looked a lot better. Hello my Friend. Definitely a shame about the first dawg but the second was a beauty. Still warm here. Was 0 yesterday and supposed to reach +5 today. I use a lot of wood too but there is so much dry wood in the forest right now. So much it will rot before I ever get it all used so I thought I might as well sell some. I had that first load sold in a hour. I've got another load sawed up now.
