Good evening Stephen, just in from theatre and lovely tea out with our friends, the show was brilliant Pretty woman, fantastic cast, brilliant songs and amazing voices, Ore Oduba,Amber Davies were in it, fab Just caught up with this lovely walk about, shame the rain came. Been fine here all day,but really cool now. Well have a good sleep 💤 thanks again for keeping us entertained around blackpool and beyond. bye for now 😊x
When I grew up in Blackpool my Mam and Dad had a hotel and Glasgow weekend was always the best weekend of the year.... Glasgow empties Blackpool fills up.🇬🇧🇫🇴🏴
Thank you Stephen another great video it is definitely a lot busier than it was on Wednesday ,there is some good shops hopefully I will meet you on one of your walks and say hello.❤
Hi Stephen. thanks for sharing your walk around on this rainy day in Blackpool . its always nice to see the old trams. lets hope the weather will be better next Saturday for the fireworks. I will keep my fingers crossed. hope you have a nice Sunday. take care. Mildred xxx
I was born in Blackpool in 1948 and migrated to Australia when I was 6...I love watching these videos so thank you so much for showing them...Cheers from DOWNUNDER..🇦🇺
My partner and myself were in Blackpool that week It poured down day and night Tuesday/Wed/ Thursday We were glad to go home on the Friday Pubs and our hotel expensive for drink
Hi Stephen, another good video. It certainly was a lot busier than Wednesday when you were round town, it was raining then too! We've just arrived and I'm hopeful we might bump into you this week! See you next time Stephen. Xxxx
In the 60’s there were some excellent clothes shops in Blackpool. Hunter’s Gents Outfitters, Orrie’s, Boston Man, Diana Warren’s, plus Hill’s Department Store. Also two M&S stores in the town centre. A lot of people visited for shopping. Preston was popular mainly for its markets.
Love the vintage trams Stephen. Going to Blackpool tomorrow ( Sunday 29th September) calling at Chris’s for a calendar. Hope to call at the tram shop as well. Thanks for showing 👍🏻☀️😎🍔🍺
Evening looks really dull and murky there but it doesn’t stop the people Andys music is fastastic I love listening to him great video till the next one 😊
Me and my next door neighbour Anne went shopping to Squires gate this morning. Pets at home, poundland, Aldis, Dunhelm etc and it was packed. Saw a really old friend of mine Alan on the bus. He is in his 80s and was standing with his walking stick. Disgraceful. In the end someone stood up. Give your seat up!!!!! He gave me kiss and got off to go to the football. See you soon Alan.
Hi Steve we were over last weekend and loved it at the holiday inn, while we were over we tried two of the fisheries you and Lee recommended, Tower fisheries was ok ,and the Yorkshire fisheries which we really enjoyed and their curry sauce is definitely worth having and I tried haddock after many years and I loved it. Missing Blackpool already.
I am not used to seeing the busker Andy without his guide dog. I hope the dog is ok? another great video Stephan, Always make me reminisce about my days in Blackpool mate. Keep up the great work mate.
Thanks for the video Stephen, of course it rained I'd a new front door fitted. What they playing at with such a tiny flag on the tower ? Weeds in plant pots not a shock really, the chickweed can be fed to Canaries but wash it well first. Adore the Vintage Trams they make Blackpool never seen a shop tram before first time for everything. Love the rock shop even though the rock has had some of my fillings!😊😊😊
Awwwww seen you filming today as we came into the car park...Yes it was VERY busy and we had to come out and I did shout hello to you but you didn't hear me 😮
I love the Vintage Trams, went to Tramtown last year for the tour, wanted to see the Alan Bradley Tram! and the Rocket tram, great tour, plus went on the Ghost Tram as well!
Ive seen a few videos of a place near the original Fleetwood depot which is a trams graveyard, rail coaches advertising the icezone & zoo rotting away . The purple ones mean the vintage trams are slightly more easily discarded & given away which is a shame. I hope as cities revive their trams, preservation societies crop up like steam railways.
That great lump of a car park as you called it Stephen is by far the safest multi story I have parked in for some time. Or it is whilst the entry system is functional. Why they override it when it is busy is a mystery. But that is the car park I aim for these days.
Thanks Stephen for another interesting video, hope you get your waterproof camera. Now the autumn is here I’m looking forward to you videoing, the rough seas along the seafront in Blackpool.
Hi Stephen it looks like its Glasgow weekend i wont come when its Glasgow fair to busy and the hotels and bars and restaurants pubs and clubs will be happy with all the money blackpool made and the carparks are rammed and another week when it was fireworks championships coral island was so rammed they were people coming out of coral island so busy and well done for calling blackpool council the pots should have flowers in then not weeds well blackpool council couldn't organise a lock in at wetherspoons 😂thanks Stephen excellent video take care pal from Keith 👍👍
Hi Stephen it's Saturday evening 7:45pm just watched your video always love watching your blackpool videos hope you having a good Saturday evening can't wait to watch your next blackpool video from Michelle in Nottingham 😊😅😂
We regularly go to Blackpool for shopping Primark is were a lot of people go to for to look for a bargain we will also go to coral island and put sum 2ps in the arcade machines then maybe grab £1 burger from Chris also pick up some shopping from Tesco at Clifton retail park before heading home up the M55 Blackpool has enough shops to get most think you need but its the fresh air and a walk along the front we like doing we don't mind most types of whether but not the rain
There were some white cart horses that pulled deliveries from the railway stations to addresses in town. They were stabled behind the Swan. In the evening you could see them returning from their days work to the stables. When they were made redundant a petition was raised to stop them from being slaughtered.
Who remembers the green shield stamp shop where Argos was in the 1970's You got stamps when buying fuel for for you're car stuck them in the savings book and got goods for them. Only thing was you needed lots of books of them for something with little value. Great times back then😅
It was all kicking off last night at maccies , police everywhere, i was staying in a hotel in Albert Road, during the day was good weather, but chucked it down when it turned to darkness,
I remember Argos. I got my Ferguson T20 silver boombox from there & went around to HMV for Now 5 ( 1985 ) I personally prefer the McDonald's building to the old Woolworths building & if you gonup to the Crows nest on the tower that flag might look a little bit bigger 😂 the weather here was pretty good today ( makes a change 😂😂 )
i think u should ask the council if u can adopt some of the planters,so when u get donations of ure subscribers u can plant some flowers or bulbs in them.
Hi Stephen just watched your ulverston video was up there only two days before you holidaying in Blackpool, love all your videos you make such an effort to keep it interesting... its a long shot but do you or any of your viewers know what happened to the old lady who always stud watching andy the busker or street singers,, always seen her for years..but haven't seen her recently...she didn't look a weathly lady..best wishes

There used to be a pub called The Swan, opposite the back of the Tower, you went downstairs to it. It served good food. That was in the early 80's.
I remember that.
There were some white cart horses that pulled deliveries from the railway stations to addresses in town. They were stabled behind the Swan. In the evening you could see them returning from their days work to the stables. When they were made redundant a petition was raised to stop them from being slaughtered.
Hi Steve, was up on Thursday, had a fine meal in Papa's...weather was awful 😂...still Blackpool is Legend ❤

Are those where you needed 20 million just to get a free toaster?

Liked the seagull having a bath@ 1:48 👍
Ha ha, all that sea and it picks a puddle, brilliant.
Friday nights Saturday all day and school holidays is when Blackpool is busy the rest of the year it mostly a ghost town
Holiday weekend
Wetherspoons should have the old sports direct and extend a very busy Albert and Lion with a Sea View.
Andy J the blind busker used to come to Bury, he does get about a bit 😊
You should come to Bury Market Stephen
Glasgow Fair is the second two weeks in July. My home town is the first two weeks.
i think u should ask the council if u can adopt some of the planters,so when u get donations of ure subscribers u can plant some flowers or bulbs in them.
Ooo Coronation Rock shop, use to be great rock! What’s it like now?
I am coming Monday I am 76 no shopping might see u xp
Nice two videos Stephen, what format did you have your osmo set on ?
I usually set it to 4K/25 with HLG colour, and always lock the white balance to avoid colour shifting.

@@theagunton3811 Not sure. The dog wasn't with him the last time I saw him in Liverpool a couple of weeks ago
Should have nipped into The Castle and said hello to my mate Joe the DJ.
Joe Curran is a bit of a legend.
He does not swing and miss. Had some great times in the Castle. Love the place. Boozy, raucous Saturday lunch times. Not for the easily offended!

Hi Steve your Osmo pocket 3 does not have any ip rating at all as I use the same one so water is not good plus I remember to old Argos for many years.
Saying that, I have used my previous Osmo Pockets in the rain and they are all still working. I just don’t let them get soaked.
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool yea I am the same I try not to get them to wet
You are getting a waterproof camera? It shows how the weather is changing and getting wetter in Blackpool. ☹️
