She really doesn't. Rachel is a pretty relatable protag, but Marley feels a lot more... real as a main character. Her struggles just meant more to me than Rachel's. Her eating disorder, her vulnerability, her compassion. A genuinely sweet character isn't a problem and it's awful how people say she's bland or whatever when she's actually a good person with no hidden agenda

Skdndkdndk At the end of the day, I feel like they realized that both of them could be a great duo for getting things done, two very compatible colleagues. They were brilliant together and they knew how to bounce from each other’s talent and charisma. These two friendships are great but also feel very different to me. I think that Marlique is more similar to Matt’s and Mike’s friendship, tbh.
