@@jacquelinecharles6273 you could perhaps even try chia seeds as a substitute for eggs. So glad you enjoyed this banana bread! Have a beautiful day!
This was a great recipe! I just made it today and it was really good. However, I would like to decrease the amount of butter (maybe to half) next time to reduce the calories a bit. Would I have to add more of something else to incorporate this change? Thanks in advance!
There you go, I put unsweetened applesauce in all kinds of bake goods in place of oil or butter . I make a carrot cake that calls for 1 1/2 C. oil and it comes out great and trims the calories too .
I had a lot of seriously ripe bananas on hand, so I doubled this recipe. Unfortunately I didn't have enough oats to go around, so I used the old fashioned oats that I had and used white whole wheat flour for the oat flour. Plus I used applesauce in place of the butter and the original amount of liquid sweetener with stevia extract to make up for the double portion. And I added pecans for extra crunch. This made enough to fill a 13x9 baking dish. From tasting the batter, I KNOW this will be delicious! Thanks for this excellent recipe! 👍🏾👍🏾

Your video is by FAR the BEST video simple and straight to it and honestly the variety topping options were even better. Icing to the video. Again. Thanks. I'm subscribing because of this video alone.
Hi there! Thanks so much for joining! I'm really glad you find this recipe helpful, that's just the way how I see healthy baking - no flour, no sugar and no canola/corn oil, and that's my lifetime decision. Hope you'll give it a try with some of my recipes! Have a great day!
I just made this bread exactly the same I just added extra nuts and some raisins and cranberries let me tell u HEAVEN
One of the best recipes. Thank you. Never thought I could make banana bread like this one. So delicious, easy, and quick to make :))
My alternations:
I didn't add yogurt because I didn't have + added 3 tablespoons of molasses instead of honey cause I don't want it to be super sweet, and it's still perfect.
This is THE best banana bread I have EVER tasted! Thank you!
Thank you for showing this simple and healthy recipe. I can't wait to make it!
Hi Ari, it's my pleasure sharing this recipe with you, it's my favorite banana bread of all times. If you find time, let me know how it turned out for you. Take care!
I own a bakery but of course my products are not healthy.. I made this bread and was super excited. Traded some of the honey for some coconut sugar and a tiny bit of molasses. I did not have enough bananas and so I graded one zucchini in with the banana. Added nutmeg. Used half butter and half olive oil. It is so moist and so good!! Also added a fourth cup of ground flax
This was absolutely delicious and moist!
Very good recipe! I've made it several times. The last time I also added a scoop of protein powder and some dark chocolate chips and it was very nice
Mmmm this is simply gorgeous! Banana bread is one of my favorites! I feel like I could smell it through the video! 😍
Hi Em, thank you much for your kind words! The funny thing is I just got the idea to make this banana bread again tonight, just saw couple of ripe bananas sitting in my living room, so why not.
I prepared this delicious recipe. A massive thank you for your talent and taking the time to share. It came out great really soft and moist, you'd believe it had flour and sugar on it! Can't thank you enough!
Hi there! Thank you so much for your kind words! Exactly, it's hard to believe there's no flour and sugar inside, I'm so happy you enjoyed it! I appreciate your feedback so much! Take care!
My family loved it soooooooo much 🥰 i even removed honey and it still tastes delicious and yummy.... I also replaced butter with coconut oil
But this second time I'll do it exactly as yours ☺️😋
you put the same ratio for coconut oil. half cup?
I made this banana bread with a some alterations. I put two tbsp sugar instead of honey and I leave out the yogurt. And I use Two tbsp butter. I added some chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and some slivered almonds. It was awesome.
Loved this recipe. I substituted butter with olive oil, greek yogurt with almond milk. Added some mixed berriesand protein powder. Just a drizzle of honey. 2 teaspoons of sweeteners. No baking powder. Amazing healthy banana bread.
I added 1/2 cup cinnamon baking chips and subbed whole milk for yogurt. Put a tip powdered sugar on top. Sooo good
Hands down the best banana bread recipe out there 😀 if you haven't already tried this, do yourself a favour and try it out! It's so delicious 🍬
I just made it last night. I used home-made milk Kefir instead of Greek yogurt. It came out moist and delicious. Thank you for a good recipe 🙏
What a great idea to sub the kefir for greek yogurt!
@@MommaT1970 thank you 🙏
I tried this today and it’s BOMBB. I made mine vegan and used flax egg instead
This is a wonderful recipe. I have made a lot of banana bread but this one is the most delicious. I just add half a cup of coucunt powder.
It looks so healthy & tasty.. I am going to make it definitely.. thank you chef for the recipe 👌😊👍
Me too
Did you make it ?
@@maxsteel3464 they never do
First time baker here! I used to be so afraid about baking and this gave me so much confidence! Followed the recipe mostly but substituted a bit with rosemary infused olive oil + avocado oil and only tiny bit butter added a bit of applesauce (from your other videos), Also used some date paste + stevia. again, all the education from your videos… didn’t have walnut so used hazelnuts that I had, added cocoa powder, cinnamon powder mixed with a bit of cardamom powder along with vanilla and the aromas were just insane (all added to some rosemary in the olive oil)!!! couldn’t wait until it cooled so had some warm cake delicious!! thank you so much for all these healthy recipes! will definitely try out more. you’re the reference now 😊
I want to make this but I dont use sugar of any form nor butter.I had in mind the avocado oil and apple sauce.I was also thinking of using flax seed for the eggs.
@@jacquelinecharles6273 you could perhaps even try chia seeds as a substitute for eggs. I have used chia seeds for pudding, they have such a nice soft texture haven’t used as an egg substitute, but I’ve read it can be. There are many egg-free recipes here and on other channels on youtube but I haven’t tried egg-free. I feel monk fruit has a slightly better taste than stevia for sweetness.
@@niraakara Thank you .I am trying out healthier choice foods.
I love the background music, it's delighful!!!
It really is. I want this soundtrack.
I tried this recipe today and I honestly had to leave a comment, as it turned out to be so good. I was in a rush to cook so I jumped to this this channel as I knew I wouldn't be disappointed 😅. Thank you🙏🙏🙏
I tried the recipe and it is really good!! But next time, I would use 1/3 of the cup of honey, because it turned out really sweet for my taste. 💕💕💕
Hi Maria! Thank you so much for trying it out and sending over your feedback! I agree, if bananas are ripe and sweet, adding less honey is just the right thing to do.
I just tried this recipe. OMG, you're a genius, it's super delicious, thank you so much for sharing your recipes. This is the yummiest bread I've ever eaten and it's my first time trying out baking bread at home. Thanks again.
Such an easy and amazing recipe once again :)I baked these as cupcakes for 20 min and my toddler and husband kept coming back for more. Thank you!
I made the bread it was so good. Just the right .I'm a diabetic. Thank you. Lisa
I love banana bread, never tried oatmeal banana bread tho, thanks for awesome healthy recipe!
Hi Natasha, thanks for watching! I can't tell about real difference between this banana bread and the classic one, I just haven't made a lot of banana breads so far. But I can tell you that this oatmeal banana bread is moist, super soft and not crumbly at all.
من أفضل وصفاتك، أحبَّها الصغار👍🏻
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe everyone at home loved it including my daughter who hates oats , she had n said it’s yummy.
I shared ur recipe with my friends n family members.
your recipes are so straighforward and simple. ive already made the carrot cake TWICE this week, so delicious
I made this recipe twice already and it is soo good!! I made a couple of adjustment like using less honey and oil, using chia seed mixture instead of the eggs and since I don't have greek yoghurt, I made a buttermilk mixture with soymilk and lemon juice. After all of this adjustment, it still taste amazing!!! Thanks for sharing.
Hi there! Thanks so much for your amazing feedback! Love all the changes you did. Tell me about the chia seeds, how much chia did you use and how does it affect the texture of the bread?
Tang Bunpa was just wondering if this would work with chia or flax seed mix instead of eggs and what to replace for yogurt. So I will be Defo trying this recipe now with your exchanges. Brilliant.
Hi Tang, I am vegan so I will also try chia seed mixture. can you please tell me the quantity? and should I add it soaked in water or as it is with dry mixture? thanks
@@healthfreak5438 Hi, I put 1 1/2 tablespoon of chia in 5 tablespoon of hot water and let it sit for 3-5 minutes for this recipe. I decided to make it again today with no honey! I just add an extra half of banana . Soy buttermilk ( half cup of soymilk+ 2 tablespoon ACV or you can use lemon). This time, it was not too sweet!
@@HowToCookSmarter Hi sorry for the late reply! I put 1 1/2 tablespoon of chia in 5 tablespoon of hot water and let it sit for 3-5 minutes for this recipe. I decided to make it again today with no honey! I just add an extra half of banana . Soy buttermilk ( half cup of soymilk+ 2 tablespoon ACV or you can use lemon). This time, it was not too sweet! For the texture, I didn't really notice much of a difference but in my opinion I think it turn abit more tastier! The chia seed in the batter complimented the bread since this bread contains a lot of banana!
I MADE IT, was the best banana cake with oatmeal until now!!
DELICIOUS👍
Looks so yummy and healthy! Will definitely try this!
I made this yesterday and added coconut! DELICIOUSNESS!!!!
Thank you for these recipes brother, it means a lot I didn’t know these recipes existed tbh. I can live healthier due to them and lose weight hopefully, I’ll still love my junk food tho. Currently lost 6 kilos in 3 months, kept yoyoing hence why I didn’t lose more in that time
I made this, but made some adjustments. I used 1/4 cup of maple syrup instead of 1/2 cup honey and I used aluminum free baking powder and added 1/2 tsp ground cloves.. It was so delicious. Even my picky teenagers loved it. They said it tasted like cake!
I just discovered your channel - INSTANT. OBSESSION.
I 💯% agree. Can’t wait to start baking heslthier
Finally found the recipe that doesn't suck! double thumbs up for this and thank you so much for sharing!!
I just made this just now and I'm absolutely in love!!!
I used coconut oil instead of the butter and I didn't use the baking power bc I didn't have it, it turned out incredible!!
gonna bake this again! THANK YOU!!
Thanks so much for sharing this lovely banana oatmeal bread recipe 🌹 I prefer old fashioned oats than quick oats too 🤝😄 Homemade strawberry jam looks so awesome!! It has a lot of large chunks of strawberries in it🍓🍓 Love this recipe a lot!!
Hi guys, thanks for watching, I appreciate your support so much! This banana bread was so good, so moist inside, I hope you'll give it a try someday. The strawberry jam was something new to me, it's so easy to make, it's sugar-free, I think I'll try to make more jams in the future. Cheers!
@@HowToCookSmarter I will definitely try out this banana bread for sure! 😋😋
I’ve just ate this banana bread ; amazing! The best ever recipe . Thank you
Hi there Maria! Thanks so much for trying it out! I'm so happy it turned out delicious for you. Take care!
Hahaha I love your obsession with oats, you kinda passed it on to me now😂😂👌🏻!
This is the best banana bread recipe I have ever found. I baked already 3 times and everyone loves it. I didn't have enough oats at home so an unbleached whole wheat flour substituted for ground oats. I also used a little less butter and agave than the recipe but it still turned out great.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe!
Hi there Jin! Thanks you so much for trying it out and sending over your awesome feedback! Love the idea of changing it up with what you have on hand. I'm so happy it turned out delicious for you. Take care!
How can I replace egg?
hey this is absolutely perfect!
Thanks Isabella! You just got me an idea what to do tonight, there's some dark bananas sitting on the counter, so banana bread here I come!
I made this with less honey, and I added two bananas instead of 3, It was very delicious.
Thank you for recipe😋❤️
What a beautifully presented and delicious banana bread recipe! OMG that jam looks amazing! I need to make some for my dad! And yes, to the chocolate sauce!🌼🌷😊
Thank you dear Alyena, I appreciate your kind words! If you find this strawberry jam a bit runny, feel free to add tablespoon or two of chia seeds, works perfectly as thickener, and I think your dad will love it too.
Made this tonight,,,, fabulous added chopped almonds and chopped dated.... 👍👍👍👍🥰yummy
I tried it , it was very tasty , can you please show us a recipe using maple syrup instead of honey ? Or tell us how much maple syrup to use in this recipe instead of honey .
Hello 👋🏼🤗
I just made this banana bread for the fifth time 😍 so yummy and so delicious 😋
I just replace honey with Stevia.
And the baking time is less than 50 min, just 30 min and it's well done ✅
Thank you for this recipe ☺️❤️
Looks amazing can't wait to try it!!🤩 Curious to know the calorie count and/or macros.
Hi there! Thanks so much, hope you'll like this banana bread. I think it's something around 150 calories per slice.
Calories free..just relish
What's the obsession with calories? I hope it's for health reasons.

Today made this banana cake and that’s the best bananas cake I had ever made and eaten in years!! And some more guilt free! I never thought oats would make such a delicious cake! I would never use ordinarily flour again. You are genius and u can see i m your big fan from now on! 😀👏👏😊😋
Hi Zarzar! Thanks so much for all of your kind words, it's so great to have you here! I agree, oats are such a great ingredient to bake with, and I use it all the time, sometimes mixing it up with some other healthy flour, but most of the time oats alone. So glad you enjoyed this banana bread! Have a beautiful day!

Hi Desi, thanks for watching! You're right, oats are just a great source of carbs.
I made this today and it was the best banana bread I have ever eaten and made. It was so moist and delicious. Thank you!
This was a great recipe! I just made it today and it was really good. However, I would like to decrease the amount of butter (maybe to half) next time to reduce the calories a bit. Would I have to add more of something else to incorporate this change? Thanks in advance!
I'm gonna try Ghee
@@wingiethewise5058 That doesn't really help with the calories. Besides, I think it would taste weird
@@bhargavibhat5075 I did it and its amazing 👏. He mentioned trying Apple sauce instead.
Hey, I like your receipes. I have a question. My grandmother told, never cook or add honey to hot food. cooking honey is poison.
I've heard this too. I use rice syrup instead. It's cheap too. 👍😃
I made this today 30th October 2021. Delicious
Hello! Thank you for the great channel!
I already tried this one and other recipe. It was perfect!
I’m just wondering if I would put the banana bread to the muffin pan, and do like the muffins is it will be okey? :) thank you! 🙏🏼
Hi Gerda! Thanks so much for trying out my recipes! Yes, this banana bread could be easily made in muffin shape too. 20-25 minutes of baking will be just enough for these little ones.
Ottima ricetta the best bravissimo very good molto sana, grazie mille thanks very healty. Io provo senza miele i try whitout honey. Excellent!
