I just discovered this last month and really love it. Børns is a Norweigan artist and did a song with a favourite Norweigan singer of mine called Dagny. Their track is called 'Fool's Gold.' It would be great to see a reaction to this. Then maybe Dereck could react to solo songs by Dagny, which I think he would really enjoy.

I'm almost certain Garrett Borns is from US, Michigan (I wish you cld tell by my txt I'm not being snooty)… Maybe he added that "accented" vowel to his BØRNS stage name just to give it a lil xtra? (idk)
But I found him on a YT vid of a TedX Talk in Michigan playing & discussing how music is a way to break language barriers, after he'd taken a trip to France w/o learning the language.
I'd add the link, but YT search should be quick&easy… His playing is great & really fun, plus it's not very long.
I came across it after 1st looking up his song "10,000 Emerald Pools"… (I heard this song before EL)
It's another amazing tune, w/a bit more mellow vibe.
There's another version on YT I liked btr that's live -I just remember the thumbnail having a blue tint & there being mult songs (like a mini set).
Anyway, it's definitely not the studio version (meaning no lipsyncing), bc he adds some extra swag to his vocals w/the instruments more clear & pulled closer to the front w/his vocals…
Thanks for mentioning the other song, I haven't heard "Fools Gold" but I'm assuming it's on here somewhere, so now I wanna check it out. Thanx ✌️

Nothing new or fresh, kind of music u can hear that sound everywhere (Coldplay or Muse). But it's fine 🙂
