- Creating a clone of something is good for learning but don't stop there.
We are actuality not building exact clone.

there is nothing wrong in cloning. It still teaches you a lot. they are not learning to recreate netflix. they are just practicing to make one using their own logic.
sad part is logic is also not of their own ccreation....People just watch through youtube videos and type alomg for 2-3 hours..thats not development..So many nuances such as Request-response . landing pc, RDBMS, Java data parsing and much more things are ignored
I preffer books and few videos for overview and then I start with brute force to create application and go for. It with simple ideas
it has two sides , first one described in the video but the good part is newbie learns how to maintain readability , write good logic etc...

@@adityaranjansahoo6261 cloning is good u can understand what kind of logics can be used.
Practice make u perfect .
00:01 Learning programming involves syntax, concepts, and advanced topics.
00:51 Start small, build confidence, aim big
01:42 Building clones only covers UI aspect
02:34 Cloning UI without backend is not a full replica.
03:18 Focus on the process, not just achieving a clone.
03:58 Importance of mindful learning
04:42 Focus on building small applications before big projects

Basics.
Then learning by doing.
Done 💯
From my humble experience, I understand that the power of any website or app is the invisible part
I don't know why these influencers are on a rant about Stop making clones. It's a very good way to learn. Do whatever makes your learning process more comfortable and personalized. Don't listen to these influencers. I think people are recognizing the facade of these influencers and they are trying to stay float.
I totally agree with you 💯
That's an amazing way to learn and it's a good way to start
you obviously didn't watch the whole video lol
Watch the entire video, comprehend, understand what is being discussed and then after you’ve done all of that you can write a comment
Sir, You made me realise that I'm going in a wrong path the entire time thanks a lot for making thid video
hope newbies like me will learn a lot from you
Valuable piece of advice. Thank you.
Great vid and valid points. Thank you!
Today I was thinking about starting a project and here is the perfect video ❤
This weekend is spring weekend 🎉
Great Video man!
Great guide! Enlightening!
I think the best place to learn in within the docs, but i also think cloning complex apps helps a lot.
Sir! The Value Your are Adding a java Programmer is Absolutely! Appeciating! Thankyou! Thanks a lot from Bengaluru, KA
Can't Benguluru is identified without mentioning state name?
I absolutely agree with you... I've seen too many projects in resume building incomplete clones... Where is your innovation... Think of something that is not there build it even partially is fine
Sir you are amazing i personally follow this channel with full force.
One of my greatest desires is meet you so i can say thank you.
Waiting for the Spring boot series.....
Weekend
Isn't he already had microservices tutorial ?
Great video , even a FB post has 22 features which we can see going in that depth is not possible so it's better to do something else
While building application , we should think about system design principles and standards which will leverage both development and system design
Eagerly waiting for spring security sir🙇♂️
telusko much love from brasil
Excellent information sir
Ok, I will work towards this
Well said 😊
A clone basically means no backend whatsoever. It's all just frontend code. Nothing dynamic data coming from the backend.
Spring boot series with new features please 🎉🎉
Stop watching tutorials bro ơi
Then how to learn dear 🎉
@@jckavlog1882 You have to pay for things that are really worth it. Either buy a book, or buy a online course. Being cheap stops a lot of people from reaching their potential.
Good tutorial there. Also I want to add that you must know what works for you.
thanks for guide
today morning i saw this. thats the vedio i searched since 3 years
Please bring more content like this
I got the same question in my interview how are you scaling your Netflix clone on weekends and weekdays since I mentioned Netflix clone in my resume but somehow I managed
by waiting for Netflix updates😅
Thank you very much sir. Can you please give a tutorial on Python UI or GUI e.g. Tkinter please sir
any plan to start blockchain tutorial. its very hard to find the best training in blockchain, mostly on private blockchain
What do you mean by making sure the app scales?
Thank you sir
started building my netflix clone yesterday and i saw this video today. I started building that to learn video transcoding, sending large size files and concepts like that. So what you suggest ?
Continue with that.
🎉 waiting for the spring boot serirs🎉
Sir , If I add Small Projects in my resume , Will my resume chances to get shortlisted ?
This is something that i really hate when people giving road map and mention cloning existing app, i always say it's a stupid thing because nobody can recreate those apps, they weren't made by one person but by a giant team in which every little group from that team as their own stack or specialization .
factzz only, basics makes pro's
Seriously all youtubers just say build projects but they dont say what we should try building, atleast you say what not to build..
Super sir❤
making clones is still better than watching tutorial videos and stuck in tutorial hell ....making clones from your own logic is way better than watch tutorial videos
This is advice for someone who is a complete beginner, but they would be benefitted by simply UI cloning since they don't know anything to begin with.
The natural progression from cloning UI is figuring out how to make a real application with a backend, I don't think anyone is out there perpetually making simple front ends and completely avoiding backend to learn programming. Especially with how simple web frameworks like next make full stack development.
Why should some dude who only knows html, css, and vanilla js even be thinking about the complex infrastructure of a FAANG company. That type of stuff is way further down their roadmap.
Agree with you
Full stack application is the game bro...
We r waiting for spring boot series
While I honestly get your point.
Truth and reality is nobody cares about your calculator or Todo app anymore!, They want something big like Instagram and Netflix clones 😅.
If you can build a "Netflix clone", you've a better chance of getting an interview (I didn't say the job) than the Todo app guy.
From my view is that a clone such a s Netflix is just the tip of the ice berg that's visible for everyone. But if you want to really learn then go deeper and try to understand how Netflix solve different problems along their journey and then apply those solutions. Also even more importantly just like what they did it's not necessary to do everything all at once. But doing one thing/concept at a time with realistic timeframe is much better approach something like authentications maybe 1 months, subscription modal - 2 months and video playback 3 months, database design 1 month and so on. The goal is not to finish as quickly as possible to learn as much as possible from a real world example. Something like Netflix and others have both passionate people both technical and non technical who are both currently employed or not talking about how they solve different problems. On top of all the resources online I doubt using an approach like that couldn't at least teach someone a few things they can apply in whatever they do.
Another common mistake when learning a new language, most ppl often don’t focus on test cases or testing framework. If you pick a complex project, you won’t go up in writing tests.
4 years of self learning and bootcamp and I say he is 100% true
Explains why you're still self learning after 4 years
I'm self learning from 2 years and doing a job
Waiting for spring framework
guru placement assure nhi karte ?
Exactly
So build a calculator not a fully fledged app,
Good advice
Freshers are not expected to scale their projects or build highly secured platform free from any vulnerability.... Though they should keep learning!! Up to u...
Remember achieving scalability in production is not a cup of tea as it's just not affordable unless u r already earning.
This is what any beginner should hear, all these people telling you build Instagram and stuff like it will actually handle millions of users and it will take 18 hours, like come on 😂, I don't even click those videos + i did build a final project for cs50 which let's you add friend and like their posts etc and upload image using flask css html JavaScript only thinking about it logically not even googling it, the hard stuff is how to actually handle all the traffic not building The UI that's the easy part and i don't need a tutorial to clone Netflix i only need to sit down and think how to store data and how to connect data and that won't need a tutorial
fullstack developers are only able to create clones
(not quality clones)
🎉🎉🎉
I never liked the idea "Cloning app". It's cringe.
Start learning Quarkus instead of Spring which is boring
Sure go ahead make a clone of Netflix and let copyright holders manage movies and TV shows. Let’s for the sake of simplicity assume everything is free. If you can build that, let me know, I’ve been trying to do something similar (Saas) for the past three years now.
❤
Clones done from lectures or tutorials are useless if not added by features of our own.
Making it full stack , not only copying it's UI , scaling it more like in Netflix one etc.
Scale? Wouldn't it will be super costly even to draft and test.
@@HKClasher I said in context of learning it , not that to spend a lot and scale it . People dont do even 0.000001% more from their side.
Dude, replication is a learning tool too. And then you can innovate after replication.
Nothing wrong in cloning
🎉🎉🎉🎉

Spitting faxx
You realy sat down and realised I have no content today, let me make a dumb video
Seriously this is the dumbest video I have ever seen.....telling everyone to make a calculator app....
Most people pick cloning an app to master the entire UI process backed up with it backend not because they want to achieve the work of those cloned all that was done over years in a day
hindi m pda do 😢
Everything in tech is part of a process .....there are different types in building a software and after learning all the basics of language...then you can go ahead and build a clone ...it's still part of the learning process....most persons don't have the opportunity to work as interns to work on a software...so building this clones help alone..... You only made this video for content creation and you were just beating around the bush ..you are advising one to start with building calculators..if you build a calculator isn't that a clone.. please use your time and make another content and stop blabbing
please teach us Spring Security sir🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😃😃😃😃😃😃😃🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
