Having gone to church all my life Petra ended up teaching me in my 20’s that which I had missed and the music fed my soul . Been to a few concerts was always exuberant !
@@albertlopez2237 I understand, but even though Bob wrote the majority of the songs, some were such a perfect fit for Greg's voice it would probably seem a little awkward to John to sing, as well as the crowd to receive. Either way, it's a ministry. It's all for the glory of the Lord!

But like you I get what your saying may be difficult to swallow for those from the Greag X volts earra. I was not but I get the consent
My Alltime-Favorite-Song from Petra, I wish I had been at this concert too, but I´m from Germany, saw them live in 2002. John Schlitt is as old as my father with age of 71, but he is kicking superb for this age ! And it´s a pleasure, that they play that song similiar to the original recording, in this style I know and love this song, best AOR-Rock !! But they played it a little bit slower, perhaps of the delay of the concert-hall or something else. And Bob Hartmann plays the original Guitarsolo that I like in this way and not some dudeludeldudel like many other guitarist after so much years ! (I know the solo very well, because I practiced it for myself, I play guitar, bass and drums)

I saw these guys back in 94 on the wake up call tour. One of the best shows I've ever seen in life. I knew every song by heart.
