I just use a monochromatic color scheme for everything lol, i suck at making pallets. There is a really good website for color pallets for art called Lowspec i would highly recomment checking it out its super helpful for finding colors that look good together.
When I duplicate an object it wont let me make the two objects different colors. Is there a way to make them separate colors without putting them under separate areas?
It's possible when they are inside of the same area in the scene list at the left. Also have in mind that negative/gooping affects all shapes above them in the scene list so make sure it's at the bottom if you want to cut from the others :)

Always depends on the creation of course but the same rules as in any art form can be applied using complementary colors :)

Yes the workflow just changed slightly there, all you need to do is click on duplicate the material above :)

Import is currently being worked on, so far you can export your 3D models.
