If the roadie had a pocket clip I would own some (I live in the UK, so strict laws and all) but the Pingo is similar, but better carry in pocket and in hand. I have an Elmax Pingo with Ti scales, and a limited edition K390 version with blue scales that I think was a UK forum exclusive. And the regular orange N690 version. I do occasionally carry all of them.
That blade stock seems REALLY thick for the size. I know a lot of folk love the Roadie, but for me, there's too many more appealing slipjoint options out there. Gimme the pocket clips, one hand opening, and interesting steels Spyderco is known for!
@@keithkevinken Hey keithkevinken, thanks for the reply. Do you happen to know what the pull weight on these knives are? In the slipjoint community people like to rate the strength of the backspring on a 1 to 10 scale, with 1 being extremely light, and 10 being nail breakingly strong.

A K390 Pingo! Lucky bloke!
They are great little knives
I Luv My Roadie! There's nothing wrong with penknives, my ancestors have been using slip joint non locking pocket knives for a hundred years! ~ LoL
I am definitely going to pick 1 up and I already loved it before your video but this video made me want it more!!
Great little knife :)

I really want that blue one at the end.
Roadie… aka the TSA knife
Just discontinued it 😢
Really?! Oh, wow. Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll finally buy one before the stock is all gone.
@@zazeechmoreno I believe they've only discontinued the Olive Green and the Brown ones.
is that cause they will ban you from owning or carrying anything that has a point or locking mechanism.
I’m not sure of the penalty.
What's the pull on these guys?
Sorry. I don’t understand.
