That's too funny man, I went to a park with 2 soccer fields and found an iron drawer handle circa 1950's . I only hit the 4 goalie areas only and one crowd strip. Gonna go back and rehunt the outside areas. Nice finds dude
Another great hunt. Lots of goodies left on soccer fields. I really liked that silver ring. It’s always fun to find money as well. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week Ryan! 💙💰 💍 🍻🤙🏻
i love that sugar sand soil. How do you have that type of soil up in Canada? I see that soil in south Florida in parks near beaches. The targets are easy to extract. In Vegas my ground can be so messy and a lot of work to cut a plug and struggle to get stuff out of the hole. - Joey
Good hunt, congrats! I did a couple of soccer fields this week as well, got one gold ring and the usual clad, but..snow on the ground now so the season may be over soon.
The soccer fields around here plant a super dense grass, tough as hell to rip apart, reminds me of steel wool. Lot of walking this hunt, exercise right? Fun to watch the same scenarios with your hunts as with mine. Thanks
I metal detect all the time...Garrett AT pro... But I struggle with scruples. Do you attempt to reunite items with the owners, or "finders keepers...?"
Cheers Mark, yes I have returned lots of stuff, and I always help people find lost items if I can. I used to post items to a local lost and found site, but I had lots of people trying to claim stuff that wasn't theirs. Check out my vid "my most precious find ever" My favorite return! Be well!
Just curious I have not hunted in 50 tone very much, on common coin vdi's pennies, nickles, dimes etc can you tell the difference in ring or jewelry type objects with the same vdi number, or is the tone very different.
no intro no mud bunny.. everything ok? hehe penny signal is thee signal as a coin shooter.. if you are a relic hunter not so much.. your jewelry collection must be outrageous by now.. :)
Wow the first hole turned out to be the best, nice hunt as always , the coil looked like it was turning green, is that a sprayed dye and seed mixture they put on the fields?

Nice hunt! I find most of my good rings in grass versus sand..
Love metal detecting soccer fields. I found 2 rings last year in a soccer field. One was a .925 silver ring and the other was a Tungsten ring.
Good hunt I enjoyed the video catch you on the next one. 🇺🇸
Productive hunt. The silver ring is very pretty. Nice to see that the grass is still quite green. Stay safe.
Thanks Dianne, all the best!

Nice bit of jewelry there. I don't pass up many penny tones anymore in the park. They're usually pennies but one turned out to be a nice gold ring.
So true! A zincer can actually be gold, silver or platinum. GL&HH
nice hunt. I found an 18K tooth filling at a soccer field yesterday
Wow I have never found a filling, nice find!
it rang 2-3 on the Nox

Cheers Vegas, It seems to be just sports fields that have that sand here, It's better for drainage I think. GL&HH
Nice hunt RD! 👍
Congrats, on the finds. Gridding the two fields is a lot of work:-) 👍
Always so appreciate it when I get to join you on another treasure hunting adventure. Thanks, Dogg!
Thanks Kel!

nice hunt - I thought for sure you had found 2 or more pieces of gold! keep up the good work!
I'm going to have to get me one of those swamp thing coils. They seem to really work. Lol
LOL It's camo, the treasure can't see it coming! Cheers DM!

Cant do this kind of thing here in NZ unless you have council permission
Congrats on another successful hunt. That silver ring looks really pretty. GL&HH.
Nice hunt! Since it is not listed, what Metal Detecting equipment do you use?
Thanks for the video.

Ok cool. We've a local FB page...I'll do that. Hope someone claims my rusty nail and .22 shell collections!

Sometimes you can hear the difference, but not that often.

Wow the first hole turned out to be the best, nice hunt as always , the coil looked like it was turning green, is that a sprayed dye and seed mixture they put on the fields?
Cheers Barry, It was just lawn clippings I think, it sure adds weight to the coil after a while. ATB
Did you paint your coil??? Why?? Does it help, and how???
No I didn't paint it, it's just lawn clippings stuck to it. All the best!
Do you have to get permission to dig up the football field. I live in England and we can't dig up the football fields , without permission.
There is one city near me that doesn't allow detecting at all, but where I hunt it is ok. Cheers Heather!
