after watching this interview I wish Nazia Hassan was alive, Then Irfan Saab could have taken her interview as well. They are all our childhood singers.
Here is a good example of how a personality grooms and grows in a city like Mumbai. I had bought a cassette of children's songs sung by Preeti. This was beginning of an era of prerecorded music by HMV. Apart from other qualities what I found interesting was "Stereo" feature which obviously gave depth to her singing. If English song ;( very apt here) can be included ; why not other languages as well ? Most Indians are conversant with other than Hindi and English and would have given better insights into versatility .
