I think if you guys are correct about Super Mario Wonder dealing with the dream world. Then I think that King Wort invaded reality, and is controlling Bowser and his team. However, here's the kicker if King Wort is basically fusing the dream world and the real world. Then, the Flower kingdom and Prince Haru are simply from the dream world. A prince from a neighboring kingdom that a young Peach dreamt up but eventually stopped thinking about when she got older. Then she met Mario and Luigi as they all got older. However, if something was dreamt once, then, it exists in the dream world forever. Meaning Prince Haru could be helping them all fix everything despite knowing he'll dissappear if they succeed, thus changing the flower kingdom back into the meadows surrounding the mushroom kingdom. On another note. In the games, it's insinuated that Bowser JR. and Koopalings were made by magic. Hence, why in Sunshine Bowser Jr. already knew that Peach wasn't his mother. So given that as shown in the Yoshi games and Partners in time that Kamek is basically Bowser adopted dad and the only one capable of magic like that with him reviving Bowser all the time. It stands to reason that we might see Jr. in the movie franchise at some point, just not right now.
In Paper Mario, Goombario is a Big Fan of the Mario Bros and One of Few examples of Generic Mario Enemies being Good Guys or atleast Neutral in the Koopa/Mushroom Kingdom Conflict. So Goombas being controlled by magic could be possible because in Paper Mario There's The Goomba bros that come in two weird colors. Red and blue. Probably inhanced magically to last longer in combat with mario

The Mario Movie sequel theory: Uhh I don’t think the main plait would be Luigi and daisy. I think it would be (SPOILERS continue if you understand) yoshi looking at all kingdoms but one has daisy so yoshi and daisy try to find their way to the mushroom kingdom because yoshi hasn’t discovered that yet and wario and wahuigi stop their path 3. Lakitu theory: if he was control why can’t Mario jump on him. And if he hired bowser why is he working for bowser 4. Peach origin story theory: she could have take off her crown. And she looks the same as the games if it was a origin story it would she peach a bit younger. 5. Shy guy: well Nintendo thought no one was going to see shy guys face so they left it normal. But only moders can see it 6. The Daisy one was because the CEO of Nintendo had two daughters and they were fighting about who would be in the next Mario game so he just added both princesses
he was not in the games because he might be locked up, do you know that peach always get locked up by bowser what if bowser's wife locked up prince haru, it make sence because bowser loves peach and bowser's wife love prince haru, so maybe in the 2nd mario movie that comes out in the future and prince haru might be in it
