DS 3 Crossback Prestige BlueHDi Review: Diesel-Powered Boutique

- Some of you may remember that I had to chance to drive the new DS 3 Crossback earlier this year, and my first impressions were positive. Those were the petrol versions, though - what is this boutique-inspired small SUV like when you drop in a 1.5 litre diesel?
DS predicts that just 5% of buyers will opt for this engine, so what's the point? Well, for starters, it's the most frugal engine of the bunch, offering up to 62.7mpg on a combined run, with emissions as low as 97g/km of CO2.
This engine offers 102hp along with 250Nm of torque, and this power is mated to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. 62mph is dealt with in 11.4 seconds, and the top speed is 12mph.

Hello everybody, so much for dropping in on my review of the new DS 3 Crossback. I just want to apologise if any of my nasal noises are offputting at time; my hay fever was very bad when filming this, so it was quite the struggle to get through filming!
For me it's a beautiful little car, i think it's good !
Great view and thanks for the info!
the ac vents looks cool
Well done CO. As to the 'sharkfin', it's taken over from the DS3. It works on the 3-door. Not at all (imo) on this 5-door.
Hi Rick, thanks for watching. Yeah, it looks good on the DS3 Hatch - I quite like it - but it simply doesn't work for me on the Crossback...
I like the Design the best
Actually it also available also the one with 130 hourse power.
Hi Stanley, thanks for watching. I did mention the 130 engine 👍🏽
A helpful video. Qashqai Tekna or DS 3 Crossback prestige?
Hi Lisa, thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback 👌🏽. In regard to your question, that's a tricky one as the cars aren't that comparable - they're in different classes and aimed at different audiences.
@@CarObsession I have been driving a Qashqai for the past 3 years and been really happy with it. I don't need a large SUV, I just like the Qashqai. Mine is the n connector so has 360 camera which I love for parking in small spaces etc. The 1.5 diesel is fantastic on fuel. The Ds3 crossback is new and looks great inside.
I heard Nissan are going to launch a new Qashqai next year, which could make one bought now look very dated. I'm looking at the Teckna, which is hard to beat on kit.
Great review as ever. Prefer the DS7 overall.
Thank you Qasim, thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching 👍
