I just want to thank you for your videos. You provide the perfect amount of information paired with beautiful scenic shots that truly convey and communicate the true magnificence of these places unlike any other channel on RUclips. We travel annually from Florida to experience the magic of the state of Pennsylvania and your videos inspire myself and my family to visit the places that you show in your videos. Your videos are so important to me and I truly thank you for them.
Great video man, discovered your channel through Wandering Woodsman. Was literally just in that area prob a month before you and fell in love with those mountains. Looking forward to seeing the collab video, keep it going brother! You got a new sub
Thanks my friend for checking out the channel and the subscribe. I had seen when I posted the video that you had recently filmed there, I will check out your channel as soon as I get a chance!
I was introduced to your channel by the Wondering Woodsman. I need to thank him. What an amazing , well put together video! That area is my idea of what heaven would look like! Wow!!
Without a doubt Worlds End is one of the most scenic parks in Pennsylvania, It helps that I got there at the right time of the year, thanks for checking out the video!
After multiple trips exploring the park and trails and staying in the beautifully constructed rustic cabins built by the CCC during the Great Depression I can personally attest to Worlds End being a very special place and keeps me coming back year after year. Fall foliage season is certainly beautiful there but I would highly recommend to anyone winter hiking there as something just as comparable in beauty and majesty. Well captured as always brother with your typical artists eye. To quote Ansel Adams yet again “Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter.” Looking forward to your upcoming adventures and collaborations.
I have heard many good things about the cabins there, I know some people that return year after year. I would love to experience the solitude and serenity of winter time there, such a beautiful part of Pennsylvania. Thanks once again Cole for your thoughtful and eloquent comments, they are truly appreciated.
I have been of the thinking for some time that the Endless Mountains region of PA inwhich Worlds End is kinda right in the middle, is the most scenic and overall interesting place in the state from a hiking and natural perspective. There's probably several dozen quality day hikes and multiple backpacking trips just within a short distance of Worlds End itself. Thanks for watching and the comment, its so great to hear from super talented creators like yourself!
Wow, what an amazing hike Walter! I love the fall colors, my favorite time of the year. Your Challenger blends in nicely 👌! I am looking forward to your meet up with the Wandering Woodsman! He's a great guy, makes me laugh sometimes. He's the one that introduced me to your channel, you and him are my favorite RUclipsrs 😍!
That's very flattering to hear Kevin, thankyou. Cliff is an amazing guy and I feel that we have a lot in common in terms of our personalities and interests- even though I recognize that our filming styles are completely different! The Wandering Woodsman is the main person that really inspired me to start my own channel so this was really the highlight of my RUclips experience thus far. And yes I gotta say the challenger blends in nicely this time of year, haha.
Usually in February I take a hike. I’ve been all over the trails here around my place in lycoming county. Worlds End is only about 30 minutes from me. I might have to check that trail out this winter.
As always I loved the video. The tapestry of colors was amazing. The best part was seeing that you hiked with Ciff. I am so excited to see that video. 😍
It was a real honor for me to meet Cliff and get to do a project with him definitely a highlight of my RUclips experience thus far, hopefully there will be more collaborations in the future.
Thankyou Ervinslens, your words are inspiring to me, you are one of the content creators who is truly a trend setter in the genre. It means so much to me to hear feedback from one who is such a master craftsman and understands the nuisance and minutiae of quality content creation.
It was very much a big deal and exciting moment for me to finally meet the Wandering Woodsman and have the opportunity to film with him. Unfortunately I had some technical problems with a new camera that I was using for the first time. It's going to be an editing nightmare, but I'm going to do the best with what I have to work with!
Amazing as always. Your videos are like going on a hike with an old friend. The teaser trailer at the end 🤯 . I can’t wait, you and the wandering woodsman make some amazing and inspirational content.
I probably spent close to 4 hours on that trailer, thanks for watching to the end! I can tell you for certain Cliff is a big fan of your channel, I hope at some point all us Pennsylvania based RUclipsrs can meet up and get together!
Thankyou Laura, I had been to Worlds End before but never filmed there. This park has a bit of everything, it's a special place, a perfect example of beautiful Scenic Pennsylvania!
I love your videos. You really do show me what I love to look at. And teach one to slow down and look. Beautiful episode. I stayed to the end. Can't wait,,,it looks amazing!! Peace & Prayers!
Great video as always! I love Worlds End! Such a beautiful area. Love all the fall colors. Feels like I am right there with you. That canyon vista really is a beauty! I was just there a month ago swimming in Loyalsock creek.
Appreciate that Dave, your very kind. Hopefully we can get together for another project in the near future. My sincere thanks for continuing to support the channel.
Another wonderful hike & video! I'll echo what other commenters said, the fall colors & video clarity are stunning! I would've loved to have learned a little more about your experience camping at Slocum S.P. Thank you for sharing!
My original intent was to document some aspect of my stay at Frances Slocum. But I have this habit of turning 3 hour hikes into 8 hour ones with all the stopping and filming I do. By the time I got to Slocum it was nearly 5pm after starting my day around 330 am, and I was simply too exhausted to do much more than pitch a tent make a little fire and fall asleep. I will get to a review there eventually.
Thankyou kindly for that nice comment. Worlds End truly is spectacular. I fully intend to revisit in the future if you know of any particular locations or trails you would like to see me cover let me know!
Angel falls is on my list of places to film for sure, and I can imagine winter time at worlds End must be beautiful and so peaceful. I have heard the cabins there are very nice 👍.
Nice Walt. We were there over the 4th camping not 20 feet off the road in campsite 19. Was nice you can access the Loyola canyon vista and High knob overlook from the campground. Wife didn't like the heights on the way up. Tried to find where Cliff left his sticker the year before but couldn't find the exact location. Thanks for your video, brought back memories.
I had hoped to stay the night there in the park but the whole campground was booked solid. I would have loved to check out High Knob overlook for the sunset. Glad the video brought you some memories and thanks for dropping the comment Bert!
Thanks Brooke this was one of those hikes that I knew was going to come out well on film because the scenery was so beautiful and plentiful. Appreciate your support!
@@WALTERZOLNA A great subject for sure but it took exceptional talent to invoke the appreciation of the many levels this area has to offer and to bring it all together for blissful enjoyment👍
Beautiful scenery and exceptional Videography! I aspire to be as talented as you. I guess I'll have to add Pennsylvania and this park to my quickly growing list of trails to hike. 😊 Thanks for sharing!
Super kind of you to say that, thanks for the comments and watching the video. Worlds End is a great base of operations to see some of Pennsylvania's best scenery!
HI I found your channel from @The wandering woodsman. Your channel is unbelievable! Beautifully done, music, video and just enough dialogue. I am watching from Ontario Canada. Love your car too ! Let's get this channel to 100 k you deserve it. Looking forward to the hike with Cliff.
That would certainly be nice to get some more eyes on the videos, but I can't really control that too much. All I can control is trying to make the best content that I can and hope that the algorithm picks me up. But to be honest, hearing the positive feedback and comments I get from the awesome viewers that I do have, is an immensely rewarding feeling.
The interesting thing for me was that when I first went up to canyon Vista in the morning it was nice but didn't blow me away. However when I returned later in the day the blue skies and bright sunshine lit the surrounding hills on fire with a riot of color!
Hey Walter, Did you get to see the rock garden? It's Across the road from the vista. Looks like you hit it right at peak, not always easy to do right? We love the fall videos best. They're like a mini movie.
I am aware of the existence of the rock garden near the overlook, I didn't feel that I had time to check it out however because the hike was taking me longer than I had anticipated, and I had already passed through many large rock formations up to that point. Thanks for the comments, my friend!
I own some land in Shrewsbury Twp. Sullivan County just outside Eagles Mere and when I was much younger did some hiking with my late Husband at Worlds End and Ricketts Glen State Parks, I love being from Pennsylvania and living in one of THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STATES IN THE COUNTRY!
Just found your channel from Cliff (Wandering Woodsman). Your editing and filming skills are so professional. I’m just a few months into starting but strive to do your kind of job. Excellent!! Great hike and I absolutely love your prospective. Oh and of course I subscribed. 😊👋
wonderful travelogue of this park. I am thinking of going here tomorrow. So, if I have it right, you hiked 6.5 miles in one day? 5 plus the 1.5-mile spur? How many hours did this day hike take? Can it be done in two days, or is it a continuous loop with only one entrance/exit point? Thanks!
It's somewhere in the range of 5-6, it's an awesome hike, I highly recommend. No camping within the state park accept at the official park campground. Much of the hike enters into the surrounding state forest where you can camp alongside the trail but I didn't recall seeing any campsites along the trail that I can remember. It's a perfect day hike for this time of year, hope you make it up there and have a great time 👍

The beauty of Pennsylvania is boundless. I will never live anywhere else. No place can compare. Great video! Stay with it.
I agree, but personally I think the area of the Endless Mountains is the finest part of the state.
The Laurel Highlands and the Cumberland Gap on route 220 from Bedford to Cumberland MD is special to drive with the top down.
