Is Kelsey PREGNANT?! What an EGGcellent question 🐣 Cuz this week Darragh & Towers are talking IVF, Egg harvesting, and making an embryHO as a millennial of a certain age 💦
i think that reasoning of "ive changed mindsets and lifestyles before so I might again and I want to have the option" is so fuckng mature and real. Few people realize that about themselves and get hella stubborn. I really admire this way of thinking and its given me a lot to think about! Thanks Kelsey
I’ve got an “old soul” kid 😂 He was on ice for just shy of a year and is 10 now. Hardest but best decision. He knows he’s my “popsicle baby”. Weird but true - when he was a toddler he would tell me -unprompted-in detail what it felt like before he was born and was still inside me. In his toddler language. Along the lines of “it was warm and dark but I was happy because I could hear you.” He’s had some other interesting experiences. I was incredibly skeptical when people would say things like that - until he came along. Still hard to believe honestly. But I know I never told him anything to prompt any of it. I like to imagine that something about having him through IVF was the catalyst. Pretty cool intersection of science and the unknown ways of the universe.
I'm a mom though embryo donation. So I've go through the frozen embryo transfer process, which is also weeks of shots (progesterone and estrogen after a month of shots that stop the follicle development process and ovulation ). It's a whole process that's tough, but worth it. And I'm thankful for the couple that donated their left over embryos, they're truly awesome and giving guys.
Very insightful, I think this is probably the best episode y’all have done together to me. I’ve looked into freezing and other stuff myself for the future but oof just still too expensive
I'd like to hear more about the decision to make embryos to freeze them, why not just freeze eggs? I'm coming from a full curiosity place, no judgement at all
I wish breeding/cloning culture wasn't so trendy, and that adoption got so fashionable it would get get cheaper and less stigmatized. A queer who never wants kids can dream

Very cool that you’re educating people about how things go now. Keep up the good work!
Please share more about your experience. I am debating about becoming a parent and would like to know what is advancing in IVF.
This felt very educational and I’m here for it!
Zach ‘Wouldn’t you like to Noe’ Towers HAHAHA I LOVE THAT! 😂
31:47 Punnett Squares. I remember that from my biology class.
That’s why you cut the toothpaste tube baby!!

I wish i could freeze my eggs but I can't afford to
Recording podcast episodes in bulk must be exhausting. I don’t know how you do it.
Would love to hear your IVF experience
