My dad has pretty diverse tastes - he would often switch from Miles Davis to Merle Haggard - but had never heard Bob Marley. We were driving to a weekend of fishing and I played Legend, a Marley greatest hits album, when I took over the wheel. Halfway through the third song he asked “Can you make me a copy of this?”
When I hear or see Bob like in this video, I become more positive and happy. do not know why. Presumably because I see a great and genuine person. Greetings from Norway. 😀
You can’t imagine how he saturated the world with his wonderful music. His music was in everyone’s collection. In the most segregated parts of the country you would find his cassettes in the cars . Bob Marley will be playing forever ☮️
I love Bob Marley . . . his music, and especially his SMILE! it just lightens my heart. I have a picture if him over my washing machine, so even when doing a dreary task, I can get a smile. : )
Have loved Bob Marley since the 70s when his music filled the airwaves. Just such wonderful reggae sound and beat, the beautiful lyrics and his voice is so distinctive.
Purity in music. Maximum respect to Marley. His heart is felt in every song. Timeless. 3 little birds is my favorite track. Too many others to suggest but redemption song or buffalo soldier great tracks too. Just a legend. Peace and love to ya Mug!
‘One Love’ a new movie about Bob Marley starts today at movie theatres 💓I have loved Bob Marley for decades and was 💔heartbroken when he passed away. His music was incredible, great messages, music to dance to, music to sing & also protest to wrong doings being done to peoples around the globe. My girlfriends & I used to go to the Caribbean gatherings in my hometown in Canada, the food, the music, dancing & wonderful people just made the world a better place. Bob died after having an injury ( 1977)to his foot, while playing soccer The injury got worse & after a doctor’s consulting Bob was diagnosed with melanoma (cancer) from which he eventually died in 1981. A very sad time for his family & friends & fans. Bob Marley left us his gifts of fantastic performances & music for us to cherish 💔❤️🩹❤️❤️🔥☮️
He was assassinated, Bill Oxley ex CIA agent confessed to killing him on his deathbed, the story goes in quotations “I gave him a pair of Converse All Stars. Size 10. When he tried on the right shoe, he screamed out ‘OUUUCH.‘ “That was it. His life was over right there and then. The nail in the shoe was tainted with cancer viruses and bacteria. If it pierced his skin, which it did, it was goodnight nurse.”, also Note he has had assassination attempts made on him before, people can go watch the movie and believe anything but the movie leaves out a lot of information and also false information
Bob is best of the best! He was not just a musician but a philosopher, prophet and freedom fighter. He died of cancer but some believe he was murdered. He’s the GOAT.
Hi man, just stumbled on your channel and I'd like to recommend Skindred since you're doing a black history month. They're a very unique band that I think you'd find surprising. Try "Rat Race" if you decide to try them out
