I’ve played nothing but western music for 10 years and i recently met a really nice guy at an open mic who just moved from India two years ago. He asked me if i wanted to play music with him sometime so I’ve been listening to as much as i can and learning as much Indian “music theory” as i can. It’s so mesmerizing and beautiful. Im so excited to play with my new friend this music has inspired me in ways i never imagined!
A great thing about Indian music is that there is very little theory and a lot of practice. Especially the North Indian classical music is all practice with almost no theory.
The taus is merely a beautiful treasure hidden by mist. I love this instrument so much and I wish it to be used more in shabad and kirtan. May waheguru give you both only the best Waheguru Ji 🙏🙏

Beautiful bandish and great control on Taus, can u please elaborate on tuning Dilruba’s main strings and javari strings. It always go out of tune and then it is hard to retune it back to normal.
