Please tell the gentlemen in this video, they are becoming very famous on RUclips. This is one of three channels I check every day for new videos. May God bless all of you and your families.
Would love to see the men taking a cooking class learning to make what they've tried... And that they receive all the spices and things they need to make it a home.
I agree....that type of video would be AWESOME!!
Yesssss
That is such a great idea! And then they can grade each others results.
Great idea
Tahir makes me laugh, 'when I go to wedding I try to eat food first , if food tastes bad there's no reason to give a gift' , he is such a funny, funny man. Love the idea he has of taking the dish boating and sharing with the sharks! Never had this dish but just looked up the recipe and it looks delicious !
Tahir is a complete fool.
Tahir is a tough cookie! 😄
@@hawaiisage nah. If I go to a wedding and the food isn't good then I have the feeling that they only put out food to say they did instead of actually wanting people to enjoy themselves. Sure we came to the wedding to celebrate you but if you don't even have the decency to let us enjoy ourselves do you really care about your guests? Bad food causes bad atmosphere. Good food let's people know you thought about the planning and the guests that YOU invited. Good food means you care about how your wedding goes. Weddings are a joyous time so do your best to make everything enjoyable. Not just for your guests but for you as well.
It is !!
@@hawaiisage and you could've kept your ignorant comment to yourself.. why would you think it's ever ok to call someone that...
What happened to Rana's teeth? These guys are so wonderful!! I really love this channel.
I was wondering the same thing.
What's this? You can't give them knives?
I will say, these guys are now the best fed in their villages!
Yes, and they're getting pretty good at using utensils even though they'd rather use their hands, lol.
I wonder if they are offered recipes to many of the dishes they sample? They often talk about wanting to fix these dishes at home. Anyone know the answer?
Teriyaki beef?
They love chinese
Rana saying he'll cook it to his guests and not share the recipe cause "it's a secret!" is hilarious and heartwarming lol!! Seeing the joy on their faces as they eat this made me search around online in my local area to see if I could find some Shoyu chicken lol 😂 I've never tried it and am curious now!
Rana is a rascal! 🤣
Search for Hawaii shoyu chicken recipe on line. Simple ingredients, easy to make
@Trump WonBig Wow 🤩 thank you so much for this recipe, I’m going to make it this weekend! I’m allergic to garlic, do you think ginger and chives would work, or am I just up the creek? Either way I’ll make it the proper way for my family. Thanks again! 💚🙏
@Trump WonBig Great to know, thank you! I just ordered some yamasa shoyu on Amazon lol! Hope you have a lovely rest of your week! Bless, 💚🙏
Since they loved the Shoyu Chicken they should try
Huli-Huli Chicken next it’ll really blow their mind 🤯 it’s still a teriyaki sauce base but you grill slightly salted chicken over charcoal then near the end of cooking spray the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and let caramelize a little over the coals and done I promise it’s so good if they’re not careful they might eat their fingers 😂 Aloha from Hawaii 🤙🏾
Sounds awesome! 👍 love Hawaii.
Yes and also some Spam Musubi! That would be THE MEAL lol.
Aaaaaand, sweet n sour chicken!!😋😋😋
Adobo chicken 👍
Okay all the recommendations are mouth-watering! I'll recommend fried rice with eggs, vegetables, and nicely marinated chicken pieces mixed in together!
been watching these guys since day one and still love these vids! could watch Chaudhary all day long
Agreed! He's awesome. 👍
Rana is hysterically funny! Also, it's so lucky that we have Doc Tahir to keep us from getting a cough!
I have some friends in the Philippines, and they love a local dish called Fried Lumpia. I'd think they'd like to try something from there as I don't think they have yet. Lumpia are deep-fried rolls filled with minced meat and vegetables and served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Being so easy to make, lumpia is almost automatically part of a Filipino feast when food for the large Filipino family has to be cooked in copious amounts.
Lumpia 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Sounds so delicious ! 💥👍💜
My mother is from the Netherlands and every time we visit, we get lumpias from a local restaurant and they are absolutely amazing.
I always wait for Chaudhary to taste every first bite in every area of his mouth. ❤️🤤
And he almost always smells it too, as does Rana.
ikr?
Gul Sher spot on identifying the tamarind and vinegar ingredients in the sauce 👌👌
Mr. Tahir was so cute when he said your guests will stay for 3 months if you serve them this! I guess I'm not making it any time soon!! 😂😂
Thought the same! 😄
My thoughts exactly!!
Lol 😂 he was so shocked at the brown sugar. Lol I love these videos.
Yep. Its foreign to them to use sugar in cooking. They use it in baking and beverages n desserts.
@@rianamohamed300 In my country (DR) we add sugar to cook the chicken. Not a lot of sugar of course just a little bit.
@@Errsvydiibc cool.
Shoyu chicken is very easy to prepare, I prefer chicken thighs, soy sauce, ginger, garlic (optional), brown or granulated sugar, and green onions, I sometimes add mirin or Japanese sake.
There are numerous ways to prepare shoyu chicken.
Ur killing me! 😋
Thank you for the recipe.
@@Keyee1 Start out with 2lbs of chicken ,1 cup soy sauce, 1 cup sugar, approximately 1 tbsp grated ginger, 2 cloves crushed garlic, 1/4 cup chopped green onions, 2 tbsp mirin or Japanese sake, I like to debone the chicken thighs and cut it in half for shorter cooking time, put all ingredients and chicken in a sauté pan or a pot large enough to accommodate the ingredients and chicken and start at med high until the it starts to boil then turn the heat down to about medium low and let it simmer until the chicken is cooked through, don’t let the sauce reduce down too much or let the sugar burn, you want to create a thin glaze.
If you can’t get the mirin or sake then that’s ok, the mirin is just a sweet rice wine similar to sake but sweeter, just add more sugar to your liking.
@@jasonbabila6006 This sounds good. Do you know if you will get buzzed or will the alcohol cook of?
@@Keyee1 The alcohol gets cooked off.
Tahir's wedding story was great. 😄
Rana talks about feeding his guests with such passion and enthusiasm. 😘
Shoyu is just the Japanese name for soy sauce.
I always share my shoyu chicken with the sharks while boating! Tahir knows too much...
TPT must have a very talented cook. Can you show the cook?
For once, make a video where they learn to cook one dish. Preferably the ones that they can cook at home. That would be fun
They had a competition where they cooked dirty rice after eating it for the first time here. Each cooked it and rated the others attempts. They’ve had a few competitions cooking other things, but I remember that one was a dish they learned here.
@@catherinetodd5163 Yes, i remember that. They also did the grill chicken. But, i would really love to see they cook in front of the camera. Learning new skills as they go. 😄
I laughed so hard at Sir Tahir's wisdom on trying the wedding food first, as it will determine if the gift will given...or NOT!! bhahahaha
Think you really need to start sharing recipes with the guys and demonstrate how all the dishes they try are cooked. Can’t understand why you haven’t already done that! 🤷♀️
Yaaaaaaaay! You're trying another great plate of food from HAWAI'I! Shoyu Chicken is delicious and very easy to make! Shoyu Chicken origins is from Japan...I'm so happy you all love it! We love you all!
Aloha from Hawai'i!💜🤙
These guys are great! Their love for their family and guests is always foremost in their minds. I just love the way they are trying so many new foods. Keep this show going, its great.
Mr Rana whispers as he discussed serving dish to friends is so cute 😊. Dr Tahir talking about water 💦 and rice 🍚 was classic. Grows in 💦 cook in 💦 drink water 💦 while eating 🍽…. Made me smile 😊 😃 ….. love ❤️ you guys as you are honest and up for the challenge of trying new foods and customs 🛃 from other countries and share your ways as well. Your customs and ways educate us about how you prepare dishes. Hope you can share some of your recipes with us as well. Dr Tahir!! I hope wedding 💒 food 🍲 is good or bride 👰♂️ and groom 🤵🏼♂️ get no gift 🎁😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️
These guys eat better than I do!
Awww. Maybe you should try to join them on the team to get fed better.
4:49 I couldn't stop myself from laughing 😂 😂 😂 😂 hilarious
Tahir isn't familiar with Taro, Water Chestnuts, Watercress and a few other foods which grow in water as well as rice. 🥰
The look on Mr Chaundrays face when he found out it was sugar that was the sweetener was priceless.
Tahir said (in another video) if he had a camping tent, TPT would have to hunt him down to do videos. I think with all the delicious foods they try, after a week or two, Tahir will be ready to come back himself to try some new dishes, they wouldn't have to look for him lol.
Love you guys! 😍 much love ❤️ from Maui Hawaii. ❤️
Chicken w/ 1 cup aloha shoyu, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup vinegar and 1 cup water. Enjoy a little Hawaiian mixed plate 🌺
No vinegar! otherwise it's sweet Chicken Adobo.
Not a dirty mustache anywhere to be found.
Mr.Chaudary was So Shocked that brown sugar was in this!!😄😄😄🤗👌 He makes me laugh...and he's Such a Nice fellow!👍🤗🤗👌
I'm from Hawaii and I make Shoyu Chicken and Adobo all the time and every once in awhile, I add Curry.... Winna winna chicken dinnah...
It's so funny when Tahir threatens to do something 'selfish'. He won't even start eating before asking the guy behind the camera if he wants to share! We're on to you, sir. You don't fool us one bit
Oh these guys make my evenings...much better than tv dross. Wonderful ! 💥👍💜🌿
I love these gentleman! Each has such a unique personality so I like to watch these at least twice. First to read the subtitles, then again to watch them speak and watch their expressions and gestures. 😊
I saw Shoyu Chickn and my mouth started watering. 🥲🥲🥲
Great video. Really love these gentlemen. They are always surprised when sampling new dishes. But what happened to Rana's gift of dentures?
Good morning Pakistan it's mia
Police department
Prayers for your to receive taco bell we love you
YOU GUYS HAVE A PERSON FROM HAWAII AS A PRODUCER OR SOMETHING?!!!! I luv this
Be good to see behind the cameras. Also how you get these food dishes to them, do they travel to film sest near western restaurants? I'd also like to now if the food they try has effected how they cook at home. Id Also I'd like to see meals these guys or their wives cook normally. Maybe they could cook a dish that we could make and give feed back in comments.
First!
Enjoy your meal my dear friends ❤️
I know, by looking at that meal, it’s scrumptious.
Would love to see cooking process!
Whenever you drink water after eating rice you will get a cough…lol
Brown Sugar....you mean white Sugar ?😂🤣
Tell the host to say Gur
I love the terminology of “If you serve this to guests they’ll stay ‘X duration’ long.”
Oh look I'm early. I love these guys.
When Tahir said that rice is the only crop grown in water, I thought to correct him, because I thought cranberries also were grown in bogs flooded with water like rice in rice paddies. It turns out that the cranberry bogs are moist, acidic peat-based soil, where the shrubby vines produce the berries. 10% of the harvest is done dry, raking the berries loose, but harvesting 90% of cranberries is done by flooding the marshy bogs, and using machinery to shake the berries free, where they float to the surface of the water and they are pushed and corralled together to be collected.
I didn't mean to misinform anyone, including our tribal friends. I understand now that cranberries are harvested the two ways I briefly described... a dry harvest for the fresh berries that you'd buy in your grocery store and the remaining 90% of the crop is collected via wet harvesting for bulk processing for cranberry-based products.
Cranberries are one of only a few types of berries native to North America. In the U.S. they generally are grown in the northern and northeastern parts of the country that have both cold and temperate seasons. They are a big crop in my state of New Jersey, a state along the mid-Atlantic Eastern coast of the United States of America.
The round, deep red berries are very tart, but are often made into a sweetened pureed or whole berry jellied sauce served as a side dish with roast turkey at our Thanksgiving holiday feast in the month of November.
The jellied sauce is also used in savory sandwiches with leftover meats, and the berries often chopped up and added as an ingredient along with onions and celery and with what you call dry fruits (nuts like pecans, almonds, or walnuts) to be mixed into a baked, moist bread and herb stuffing.
Cranberry bread is a delicious, sweet quick bread that is wonderful with breakfast, for dessert, or for a snack anytime. Made in muffin form, too. Often orange juice or orange zest and sometimes pineapple are added to the flavor, and chopped nuts for crunch.
Cranberries are also used in producing a tangy and refreshing juice drink or drink blend. The berries are very good for you, with lots of vitamins and antioxidants. The juice is particularly known to help with urinary tract infections. Don't know, though, whether cranberries or the juice helps with coughs, lol. Tahir will have to do his own research on that.
Certain seaweeds like kelp are crops grown in water (farmed and harvested from the sea). I don't know much about that other than understanding kelp is used both as food (usually in Japanese dishes, I think) and for nutritional supplements. The farming aspect and some recipes that feature kelp might provide interesting subject matter for a video, just as cranberry farming and recipes would be interesting.
Wow! Been living on the east coast 50+ years and you've just taught me something new...smh
@@valardeeedeyosuri9851 Actually, I fact- checked myself. I was not entirely correct. The cranberry bogs are not directly flooded with water as the cranberries grow. The soil is moist acidic peat. The berries are harvested from the vines in two ways... a dry harvest and a wet harvest. In the wet harvest the bogs are flooded and the berries float. I've seen amazing pictures of millions of berries floating on the water surface as they are being harvested, and driven past the boggy fields. I believe the rest of my information was correct, though likely not exhaustive, especially regarding cranberries in cuisines. I haven't explored further recipes or other uses of cranberries.
@@georgielancaster1356 Good point.
Best channel ever .. they can make me happy and smiling all the time
Thank you from Madinah 💫
Chaudhary's expression when told it contained brown sugar had me rollin'😆
Thank you Tahir for the information. Ill be sure not to make this recipe when I have guests, I would not want them to stay for three months.
Great video!
A smile glued on my face EVERY time …🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️
I am going to do than in my next wedding’s invitations!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 if God willing!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I wish the producer would show Tahir how to eat from the spoon or fork properly. That way, he doesn't use his teeth anymore & it doesn't make that _awful_ sound 🤯 Chaudhary & Rana do it correctly. Also, you can always tell when Chaudhary enjoys something by the way he reacts after taking a bite or just by him smelling it 🥰
Y'all are so funny! That was a compliment. 👌👌👌👌
Jaggery is a type of brown sugar. Cheeni is more refined. You can tell Mr. Chaudhary that if he can get some soy sauce, he'll be able to recreate this dish using jaggery.
I would love to see their local cooking.
The sauce is garlic, ginger, a little sugar, and soy sauce, a fermented sauce made of soybeans called shoyu in Japan or if a longer ferment it's called tamari in Japan.
Best line ever.... "If you make this dish for guest they will stay for three months at least"....Makes me not want to serve it to guest LOL!!!
Why is everyone cutting a chicken with a knife and a spoon? Geezus, grown men eating like toddlers.
Never had this. I'll look into trying it also guy's reaction to brown sugar is priceless
Lol I just made Shoyu chicken the other night! 🤣🤣🤣
It's always great to see these gentlemen enjoying a new flavor or ingredient or dish. 👍
I like Shoyu chicken and make it about once a month. Very tasty dish with rice.
Here is a brand of soy sauce you can buy in Pakistan: Shangrila Dark Soy Sauce (Naturally Brewed)
Never heard of Shoyu but love sweet and sour food!!!
In Hawai’i, we call soy sauce shoyu
yes ! Lets get the uncles and aunts to try pacific island foods like from Guam, Samoa, Cook Islands, Niue .
Why are these people not offered a beverage or water to drink with the meal and a napkin?
And again, the subscription numbers grow!
I love shoju chicken 😍😋😋its so delicious 😋🙂
well, the boys have now officially tried something I never have tried or even heard of before.
Search online, its easy to make and your family will love it.🤙👍
@@Signkae1 I'll try it thanks!
I keen asking what happened to the little guys new teeth
Tahir is a scream! I love these guys!
It kinda sounds like "Shoryuken" haha.
Thank you for trying shoyu chicken! It’s a very popular dish here in Hawaii. Shoyu「醤油」means “soy sauce” in Japanese. So basically it’s soy sauce chicken. Add some Chinese five spice in it and it tastes even better!
I never heard of this dish, but it looks so good I'm going to try making it!
@@AmbientSoundVibes Yay! It’s very easy to make.
PLEASE SHARE THIS RECIPE WITH THESE LOVELY MEN. I FEEL THAT RANA WILL MAKE IT.
"And they eat such dish while boating...
They might share the piece of chicken with the sharks."
LMAOOOOOO!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Please tell the doctor that RICE is NOT the only crop grown in water...
CRANBERRIES are also grown in a CRANBERRY BOG*.
*(A bog is the water that rice and cranberries are grown in.)
Cook chicken in this.--->Mr. Yoshida's Original Gourmet Sauce (86 oz.)
It makes shoyu chicken.
My obsessive compulsive disorder makes me want to paint over that small dark spot on the wall just to the left of these guys every time I watch these videos
Anyway, good stuff. ;)
Me, too!!! I think they know they are triggering us!!! LMBO. Not, really.
Suggested New idea. Chilled Watergate salad. Made with pistachio pudding mix, pineapple bits, marhmellows, cool-whip...garnished with marashino cherries and pistachio nut slivers.
One of my faves too, I think they're not used to those levels of sugar / salt in food, traditionally spices are mainly used instead.
Why do my brothers assume everything comes from Pakistan there is a big world 🌍 beyond 🤦🏽♀️🤣🤗
I would LOVE to see these joyous men learn to cook their favorite dishes that they have eaten so far. That would be a fantastic video!
Excellent dish! Nobody mentioned the No.1 ingredient: Soy Sauce
Shoyu is a brand of Soy Sauce. Sugar is added to the Soy Sauce and the Chicken is marinated in it for hours, taking on the dark color and sweet flavor.
It’s an addicting dish.
They need to try chicken paprikash with nokedli (handmade noodles) or rice. They would love it! It's a dish from Hungary.
Hawaii in the hale!
Maybe this will help them blow the minds of their guests! It's the easiesty one I could find.

I've never had Shoyu Chicken before but after watching Chaudhary smell it, I absolutely must have some. Sir you must be a good cook because our friends here love eating what you serve them. If you cooked for me I would always empty my plate and I would be as fat as a cow, a very happy fat cow.
Asian sweet and sour uses soy sauce, you could add some tamarind paste maybe instead.Simple non soy sweet and sour is red or brown vinegar, white or brown sugar(or whatever you have),neutral oil or mild olive oil, salt, black pepper and minced onion and a little cornstarch or plain flour to thicken. This is used in 5 bean salad and German Potato Salad. My dad made breaded baked chicken with Spanish Rice, which is rice, tomato sauce, diced bell pepper, diced onion,a little garlic and a little cayenne, you can add coriander leaves if you like them.
I'm glad for westerners are able to see how Muslims really are. Humble, kind, loving, & how we are always wishing peace for all around the world
Something the media tries hard not to do
Near the end where Tahir is talking about eating the dish on a boat, is the word for shark locally just "shark"? That's what it sounds like he says.
I hope they're provided with recipes when they ask for them, seems like almost all of the guys can cook.
A rice and chicken dish is eaten with a FORK AND A KNIFE. Definitely not with a spoon, unless you are a helpless toddler.
Why don't you guys give them knives to use along with the fork and spoon. It would be simpler for them to cut the chicken with.
