DIN Pixie - DMX SPI Controller: Unboxing & Product Overview

ENTTEC’s DIN Pixie is a robust and reliable installation grade DMX to SPI controller and standalone player designed to make control of LED pixels easy.
Control 2 universes of DMX (256 RGBW, 340 RGB or 1024 White 8-Bit LED's) from the DIN Pixie. Use its DMX inputs, stream to it from a computer plugged in using USB, or set it to play a 1 universe standalone show you've created and saved to internal memory.
The DIN Pixie is packed with installer-friendly features, including:
- A wide input voltage range (5-48V) allowing it to be powered from the same PSU as your LEDs.
- Surge and self-healing fuse protection on every port.
- Overtemperature protection and intuitive configuration allowing tailoring to your project.
- Slim, electrically-isolated 4 DIN unit form factor with various mounting options.
The DIN Pixie is backward compatible with the Pixie Driver API allowing PC applications to control LED pixels via the USB connection.

Will this work with Madrix?

Hi Bernard, it will work if you have a DMX input, however, it will not work via USB directly from Madrix. - We make other hardware that works with ArtNet or sACN from any control software, check out our OCTO 8 universe eDMX to pixel controller.

@@ENTTECofficial yeah I was wondering if it was an option to the pixelator. Installed several of those and have a 86U pixel mapping job coming up. Figured I would see if storm was suitable with the build using rj45 dmx vs ArtNet.
