This 1955 Jaguar XK140 FHC we have for sale was sold new at Hornburg Jaguar, Los Angeles, this two-owner example has been in California it's entire life and is a reliable driver.
Original 3.4L engine was replaced several years ago with a 3.8. It starts; runs and drives well. It has been consistently maintained over the years and kept road-ready.

If the bonnet lifts up at speed it could fold back on itself (seen it happen). Hood strap should be considered if this is a driver( for real). Alternative is a small leather strap looped through the bottom of the grill.However, an engine fire responce time may be delayed with either of these straps. Happy motoring. P.S. the shift boot looks better in leather matching the rest of the interior, as opposed to black rubber mimicing toyota/ generic style. That goes for Whitworth instead of Metric also.

I have a xk 140, owned since 1964. Word of warning. Keep it British. Please Please don't let the Americans ruin this beautiful car. Don't sell one to them.
