Are there no prisons?
Great catch! 'Are there no prisons?' is one of Scrooge's lines in A Christmas Carol. At that point in the story, it shows how harsh and uncaring he is toward the poor, reflecting the social attitudes of the time. Dickens really used Scrooge to criticize these views-thanks for pointing it out! 🎄☃️
