I love this area and trail system. Have a few friends that go gold sniping out there with great success.

Great video. I metal detect in the mountains of Pennsylvania safety and awareness of your surroundings is of utmost importance. New sub here over from Starry's Lost and Found. A😢Greenie

I would say a big yes on the winch, poison oak and ivy and a whole host pointy plant are what I have to deal with here in central Texas and some critters. Not fun. Don't have the gold you have, but it's here. Keep the vids coming. Thanks

That winch is a great idea and is definitely a game changer. We have stinging nettles in the UK that are a bit like Jellyfish stings when they rub against your skin. Nothing else wants to kill or eat you but like you said, it's all about being safe when we are hiking on our own down the embankments.

Yeah stinging nettles are horrible, we don’t have them in my area but near the coast in more Northern California there are nettles poison oak is nasty.

well that winch might be tricky to build and tough to hike in, but once on site - wow! it has to be sweetest way of shifting a boulder ever. Nice.

I should also add that you will be surprised what that little wench will lift, I bring home 500 - 800 lb boulders. The wench is mounted to a hoist on my trailer, the boulders are used for landscaping. I also use a 20AH lithium battery, which is lighter than that garden tractor battery, it will last all day.

I think the people are actually the most dangerous.

you should come to southern Arizona, your 3rd danger would be the Cartel watching their human smuggling and drugs.

Now that sounds super dangerous, I like it. But we all know GOLD will make a man go about anywhere to find it.
