I have no idea how this works
Bruh go study on yt
@B-Town Braviary agreed, sativas can never learn to play
Don’t try to watch yugioh or mtg if you think this is hard buddy
Just play some then you will, a 6 year old can play basic decks and more complex decks imho are 8-9 years plus
I played Yu-Gi-Oh for a few years and am just now getting back into Pokemon it it seems fairly simple
Anxiety level reached max watching them look at the decks they built so many times.
It's all different card games it's super annoying
Yeah agreed, watching them just over and over and over, it's like how many times can you look at the same 4 cards lol but I understand that's how the game is played.
There was so much computing haha Its like were all in the battle with the same cards. Its really cool hahah
Each player needs their own timer - like in chess. It seems that a player that is ahead could stall the game with no repercussions.
chess clocks just wouldn't work
A couple years back at world's the player that was slated to win was punished for stalling and the opponent drew a prize card for that penalty. That brought him down from 4 prizes to 3 and he was able to win the entire tournament the next round thanks to the penalty. I believe this was 2019 masters finals. So there are repercussions, however, they are rare and allow for a lot of time.
Unless you wanna he there for 5 years it's bad. In litteraly every card game
@@Keyozen there's 2 separate timers in the online version of tcg and it works pretty well
@@thefreshexpress8615 online not the same as in person. And also how often do the timers even matter online
Congrats to both Azul and Isaiah. I was personally rooting for Isaiah but huge congrats to Azul. Massive win for him. Hopefully we will see them both again in the worlds finals!
Spoiler mucho?
Shout-out to the kids who collected Pokemon cards but had absolutely no clue how to use them
There should be a timer for some things like going through your deck. Bruh was wasting everyone's time
Can someone please explain how he was able to attach 3 energy cards to his Palkia at 13:30? Thank you.
Its vstar ability lets it take 3 energy from discard pile and attach it to it
Because he
i was wondering the same thing!! I kept reading every card over lol
@@thefreshexpress8615"Because he" 🗿
I had no flipping idea this game I used to play as a child was such a huge deal???
This is so fun to watch
That dude would’ve touched my cards like that and i would’ve got disqualified
Fun fact, i love playing this but when i draw cards and do combos i am so scared to be slow so i have a special respect to other players who let you take time
Woah! The final battle of the Pokémon North America International Championships is gonna be off the charts! Can't wait to see who will be crowned the TCG Master Division champion in 2022! Bring it on!
Nice games! 300+ Hp seems to be T H I C C enough to deal with those assassin Palkias lol
btw, they desperately need to have the bgm quieter while the interviews are happenining ._.
Would love for someone to break down isaiah winning game 1 for me that last combo was too fast pace
Echoing Horn brings Arceus V from the discard pile back to the bench, cross switcher brings that Arceus V to the active and also brings one of Isaiah’s Pokémon from bench to active, he attacks for the knockout and the final prizes
he level balled for drizzile and used shady dealings for the evolution incense to get inteleon for the shady dealings which aloud him to pull echoing horn and his second cross switcher out forcing azuls arceus v on the bench making him switch it to the active spot for the ohko to win the game
@@hoodrat200 I get that part, but what did he attack with? I'm assuming the revived Arceus V would be at full health no?
@@DarkestLaugh that is correct. Cross switcher brings up the revived Arceus V 220 HP. Isaiah switches into the inteleon with 1 water energy on it, retreats back into the Palkia VStar and uses Subspace Swell for 220 damage
@@hoodrat200 thanks you!!
I can't watch Isaiah handle the cards. It's like watching spiders crawling. Dude has no chill.
But he has game.
Anyone know the brand they use for the card sleeves?
Dragon Shield
@@taylormaxwell1384 thx
The extreme shuffling of your hand is the dumbest most annoying thing ever
Did I see the players add multiple basic energy in one turn? Can anyone help me? How is that possible?
I want the game to go back to more of the basic. Scrap the vstars I’d like the basic tier and maybe ex’s/x’s to stack on to final forms. But this is exciting too!
The amount of deck searching is annoying and ruins it for me. Should be some rule to only allow you to search once, dude searched 8 times at the beginning.
Congrats to Azul! Glad to see him win. I don't know much about Isaiah but I don't like how cocky he was coming out at the start there.
Hate how while it was loading your comment was the first this i saw and now you spoiled the whole video :/
@@RecklessHustleHard If you follow the TCG at all on Twitter or RUclips it's been all over the news that Azul won. It's been nearly a week now lol.
@@DKong1026 well i don’t so here we are lol
Flying Pika!!!
Fucking hell she had some magnifying glasses on
Bradner shoulda been DQ’d at 40:56 for flipping Vstar coin with no Vstars in play.
That was kinda weird but he was like pre-playing his hand with Palkia Vstar coming out. But it's exactly that kind of out of order gameplay that makes it hard to watch IRL TCG, at least IMO.
that wouldn't have been a DQ ever 🤣 it would have been a warning at most and the coin flipped back over
@@GuitarBloodlines nah you need to set a precedence. people like Badner act like they are god and probably try to do stuff like that all the time when not on stream. wouldn't be surprised if he gets caught for cheating tbh,
@@JakevO8 the precedence is it's a warning
@@GuitarBloodlines how bout when he just recently cheated at Baltimore regionals? Lmfao dude is a rat.
Flicking through 60 Pokemons cards really makes for a boring card game
Is the one guy shuffling his enemy’s deck? Is this usual?
Cool deck aszul
I love Pokémon and collected the cards but never wanted to play it. I mostly did yugioh
Are their deck lists posted anywhere?
Why do they get to search through their decks so much?
Because that's how the game works
@@boxkid759 how so SA?
@@thez9406 because if a card says "search your deck for X" then you do it. What are you taking about lol. They get extended time to search their deck on the first search to check prize cards.
@@boxkid759 OK which cards said that? Play by play announcers are doing color commentary instead of play by play. There is an obscene amount of deck searches hence my question. if you can’t answer it that’s fine but I don’t need your snarky reply. Obviously one of their cards allowed it… which one’s?
@@thez9406 quick ball, ultra ball, capacious bucket, starbirths ability on arceus, rahian, evolution Incense, capture energy, drizile and inteleon ability searches for trainers, irida, battle vip pass, level ball.
All those search from their 2 decks.
How to put down 3 water engergies at 14:39
That starter needs a timer he takes to long
How do I even play this
Go play the online tcg tutorial. Tells you a great baseline.
ia there a video of people not playing with v star card or gx cards it seems like that is their only weapon there its almost no fun
ole dude probably should of stopped shuffling his cards so much and played the game
I do not like Isaiah. He was doing way to much. Watching him play at the beginning was very annoying.
I don't understand why hold championships to a Game that has no skill to it.
Its álmost like a horse race... Why have jockeys if the horses do all the job?
Why not just make the horses run by themselves?
all those moves for 2 energys , come dude this is why competitve is boring
This music is horrible. So loud over the video.
Spending $10000 at least to even get these decks. Bye.
What?
Shuffles deck good and proper. Opponent grabs deck. I’d slap his hand. why shuffle it more when you just watched it get shuffled
People cheat at shuffling - whenever anything is shuffled the other player has the right to cut - even if it’s shuffling your hand for Marnie
It's standard practice to have the opponent cut the cards every shuffle. Neither player is doing it without permission. This is in place because much as we hate to admit it, there are players who may try to false shuffle or otherwise stack the deck regardless of how innocent they may seem. It helps preserve the integrity of the game.
Why all the masks
If I went and they said wear one I would give my opponent the W and walk out.
only in ohio 😂 😂😂
I can’t take these people seriously with mask
Mad?
Srsly. Lame. It’s 2022 ffs. Luckily my local gaming community doesn’t force to people wear them. I don’t care if anyone else chooses to tho, good for them
Why the masks?
Covid regulations still be going on
@@generic_account8252 What? Hahhahahahahhahahaha seriously?
@@Rombizio yeah idk why I mean covid is barely going on. Prob not even safety it's just prob it took a while for lots of paperwork and getting it out there to say regulations are over and even if they .ay just want to wear them from the covid scare of 2020-2021
pokemon and yugioh are just awful to watch in comparison to magic.
Cant believe this shit happens ...and more amazingly adults are involved in this game..what a joke 😂😂😂😂
I mean it’s pretty complicated I don’t think a kid could do it I have no idea how they work I just collect them
