Especially when the mannequins start calling out "Marcia", "Marcia", with close-ups of the lifeless faces.
But then it takes a surprisingly moving tone as she mourns the ending of "her turn" in the "real world", the other mannequins, who came to life by this time, were comforting, warmly welcoming her back to her "family".

She has a glow about her, and she has aged very well, compare her to someone like Bridget Bardot, or Liz Taylor. She was studied the principles of Science of Mind, as did her good friend Ellen Corby. Not wanting to be confused with Christian Science (the no-doctor religion) it changed its name to Center for Spiritual Living. Anne wrote an extraordinary book called “Voices From Home: An Inner Journey. Well worth tracking down and reading. I thought, “She was Shirley MacLaine before Shirley MacLaine was!”, as Anne’s book came out before Shirley’s ground-breaking Out on a Limb. Anne’s book is beautifully written. Another one of her talents.

Didn't even realize she did the 2 episodes because she looked so different in both. Now that I know, it seems obvious. Loved her, so beautiful & very sexy "50's" girl look in "After Hours".

Just saw a lovely character in the Twilight Zone, Jess-Belle, that I knew I saw her before. After a quick IMDb search, I discovered it was the same lovely young woman that starred in 'Forbidden Planet;' my absolute favorite classic old Sci-Fi movie.

Anne Francis was brilliant in both roles on the TZ. She would have been great as Samantha in Bewitched as well. I wonder if she auditioned for the part
