Hi Brandon - great advice as always - can you please advise what size ratio you use for your thumbnail 14:04 and the corresponding pixel count for length and width ? I see 5:4 or 4:3 or square - what size do you like for least amount of cropping and looking good across the most platforms? Thank you !!

I use square for my mock-ups, but I keep all the important information in 5:4. So it doesn’t get cropped when viewed from different platform searches

How is it that you do screenshot? On Mac, command, shift, and then the number 4? Not sure if I heard it correctly.

Yup! It’s “Command + Shift + 4, then click/hold the mouse button and drag the pointer over the area you want to screenshot :)

Typically, images in listings tend to resemble each other, as sellers often create designs based on what is popular in the market. However, I recommend customizing your design to incorporate your unique branding in the listing presentation. The primary risk of being banned is violating Etsy's policies, so I advise thoroughly reading their Seller Policy which can be found on the Etsy site as well.
