SCART could support S-video by using the red pin for chroma from a device to a display, and the blue pin for chroma from a display back to a device, but support for S-video over SCART was manufacturer dependent. Both the VCR and TV would need to implement it as an option. Support for RGB is extremely rare in cheap SCART to HDMI converters. They also tend to have problems with non-standard signals such as those from old game consoles as well as the abomination that is PAL-60.

looks ass but idk once i tried a S-video cable on my VCR and i got no colour at all does all scart equipment even support all of it's output ''modes''
