Sven Väth - Clubnight @ Prodo X, Darmstadt - 15th May 1999

Another old CD-R sat in the cover of a commercial mix CD, this one was slotted in the "The Sound Of The First Season" Cocoon case under the original. I used to buy a lot of these CD-Rs from around times when I'd seen the DJ live and that was definitely the case with this one. Sven had long put to bed the trancey days of old by '99 and I caught him a couple of times that year, playing techno like you will hear on this mix. That early Cocoon, (late 90's/early 00's) was Sven's best era in my view and he blew my head off a few times over that time period. Loads of good stuff on here too with tracks/remixes included from Underworld, Jeff Mills, Space DJz, Marco Carola, Luke Slater, Terence Fixmer & Johannes Heil. I only found out recently this was aired on the famous German radio show, Clubnight and was part of a longer broadcast with other DJs. Thankfully no voiceovers though!
