What type of solder? Im working on a toy that takes C batteries. The motor is a little bigger than that but not much. Wouldn't it take the same sokder? The kind i have is too thick

Most likely you can use the same solder to join the big C batteries. But if, and only if you think it may be too thick to solder it with the one shown here, then you can use the blow torch and a thicker solder wire. Hope that helped. Cheers
